Issues and suggested actions
Limitations
HP ProLiant Server SNMP and WMI Management Packs (v 1.x & 2.x) displays incorrect Management
Processor health state on HP ProLiant SL servers
In HP OneView for Microsoft System Center, the HP ProLiant Server SNMP and WMI Management
Packs (v 1.x & 2.x) are reporting an improper severity mismatch for Management Processor health
collection. They are reporting Management Processor status as healthy even after disconnecting iLO
NIC cable. This occurs on HP ProLiant SL servers in the SCOM server when SNMP or WMI is the data
source.
On Gen9s, Agentless MP is reporting incorrect network health status
In HP OneView for Microsoft System Center, the HP Agentless Management Pack is reporting an
incorrect severity for network health collection on the SCOM console. This occurs on Gen9 Agentless
clients running the Linux operating system.
310 Alert not generated when Agentless client is changed to "SNMP Pass-Thru" mode
In HP OneView for Microsoft System Center, when using Out-of-band management, the 310 Alert is
not generated on the SCOM colsole when the iLO4 Management setting is changed from "Agentless
Management" to "SNMP Pass-Thru" mode even after the client is removed from SCOM.
A Linux client managed through an In-band agent may be discovered and monitored as an Out-of-band
Agentless client when both management agents are using the same SNMP community string
If a client is running both In-band and Out-of-band management agents, you should use a different
SNMP community string for each management agent.
Associated discovery will accept system’s OS IP for Agentless servers
If you rediscover an Agentless server through the Device Monitor Console (DMC) using the system’s
OS IP, the DMC will accept and replace the ILO IP. In this situation, the existing out-of-band device
will disappear from the SCOM console.
To resolve this issue, remove and then re-add the Agentless server using the ILO4 IP address or the
DNS name. Avoid the system’s OS IP for out-of-band management.
