BRANCH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (CLICK HERE TO APPLY)
The successful candidate will assesses, evaluates, establishes and develops business growth through referral source
relationships, business-to-business relationships, direct consumer contact, referrals, public relations and other effective
activities for a specific branch of NOVA. In addition, the incumbent may also assist with Loan Officer recruitment.
The candidate must have one (1) to three (3) years of mortgage-related experience and a Bachelor's degree with a focus
on sales, marketing, business development or related field is preferred or equivalent job-related experience, education
and demonstrated skills. Outside sales experience is desirable. The candidate must be computer-literate and have the
ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated
interpersonal skills to establish and maintain good working relationships, as well as use independent judgment, tact,
diplomacy, flexibility, professionalism and discretion desirable. As self-starter and able to work under deadlines with the
ability to work a flexible schedule is a must.
Essential Job Functions:
 Develops business through:
o Direct consumer contact.
o Builds relationships with realtors, financial planners, and other referral sources and connecting them
with NOVA Loan Officers. This includes making outbound calls.
o Maintains and grows NOVA Business-to-Business (B2B) relationships by meeting with Human Resources
Managers, providing marketing materials to business partners, giving presentations to employees, and
acting as a project manager over these critical relationships.
o Facilitates classes, seminars and other presentations to communicate NOVA’s messages.
o Active participation in community events or groups that provide business development opportunities.
 Oversee the production of appropriate marketing collateral, promotional material inventories.
 Recruits quality Loan Officers to join NOVA Home Loans by identifying candidates, contacting them via phone
and email to initiate conversations, interviews, and attending networking events.
o Utilizes internal and external databases, branch manager expertise, and Loan Officer networking events
to locate and identify potential Loan Officer candidates.
o Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of all the resources and benefits NOVA offers to “sell” these features
to the Loan Officer candidates either over the phone or in meetings.
o Conducts conversations to ensure the candidates both meet our minimum requirements of a past year’s
W-2 of $100,000 or more and YTD pay stubs trending to $100,000 or more and fit culturally into the
organization.
o Collects a copy of their previous W-2 and YTD paystub.
o Organizes interviews with Branch Managers and interested Loan Officer candidates

BRANCH PROCESSING MANAGER (CLICK HERE TO APPLY)
This position provides direct supervision to assigned Processing staff; oversees the branch loan processing function,
providing direction, training, support, and backup to all branch processing personnel, as needed.
The successful candidate a minimum of five (5) years of recent processing experience and a minimum of two (2) years
progressive management/supervisory experience; or a combination of experience and education. The successful
candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional loan guidelines, automated
underwriting systems and computer systems used to submit and track loans electronically, as well as knowledge of
applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations in order to ensure compliance. A Bachelor’s Degree in
Business or certificate in related field is preferred, not required.
Essential Job Functions:
 Manage the recruiting, hiring, training, performance management and development of all direct reports.
 Conduct weekly meetings with processing staff to train, update, communicate procedural changes, and share
pertinent information; attend managers’ meetings; attend other meetings, as needed.
 Answer questions from processors and loan officers; provide assistance and guidance.
 Review files submitted to processing from loan officers as needed to ensure approvable loans are being turned
in and the loan officer is completing all required items, using DIRFT Sheets. Provide feedback to Branch Manager
and Director of Processing, as needed.
 Review all files with PTD/PTF conditions prior to submitting required documentation to underwriting/closing, to
ensure information provided is sufficient. Provide feedback to processing staff regarding any deficiency.
 Assign and maintain Loan Officer/Processor/Assistant Processor teams; monitor staff volume and adjust for
workload distribution, as necessary. Monitor and maintain established service levels requirements; adjust
processes and procedures with approval of Director of Processing, when needed.
 Prepare and analyze processing reports, submitting to management, as necessary; ensure that employee goals
are met as they relate to defects. Manage, coach and provide regular feedback to staff.
 Effectively communicate any Company policy or process changes to staff. Provide timely training of relevant
policy, procedural, and guideline changes to staff.
 Review and approve attendance submissions for direct reports; work with Payroll department to ensure proper
time keeping records for all staff.
 Maintain open communication with Director of Processing and Branch Manager to effectively inform of
occurrences within your department.
 When necessary, process loan files to meet established service level requirements. Not to exceed 12 loans per
month, unless approved by Director of Processing.

The successful candidate will provide administrative, clerical and receptionist support for the branch/office. This position
has direct contact with customers and employees, so excellent customer service skills are a must.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in an office with a high
call volume as well as a high school diploma or GED.

Under supervision, the successful candidate performs internal audits, specifically in the areas of mortgage compliance
and operations. The candidate will help determine NOVA’s compliance with policies and government regulations, offer
management suggestions for mitigating risks, and propose process improvements. This role is integral to the Internal
Audit Department’s goal of providing compliance assurance, and the audit work may span the full-range of NOVA’s
mortgage operations.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of recent mortgage industry experience, preferably in
operations. Knowledge of mortgage operations and systems, including the Loan Origination System (LOS) is a must and
familiarity with NOVA origination and operations procedures preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
Business Administration, or related- field, preferred, but not required.
Additionally, the right candidate will have Knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance governing mortgage
origination and the ability to keep up-to-date with changing regulatory environment. The candidate must have strong
research and analytical skills with the ability to find creative and compliant solutions to problems. Strong verbal and
written communication skills, including effective presentation skills to peers and management and report writing skills
are a must. The successful candidate must have moderate Excel and Word Skills.

 Review the requirements of state and federal mortgage regulations relevant to an assigned audit.

The right candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a strong background in the Mortgage Industry. Loan
Originator License (must be maintained in good standing), high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of two years of
recent work experience in the mortgage loan industry is required. The ability to provide exceptional customer service is
required. Proficiency with computers is a must. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and meet
deadlines. Excellent attention to detail as well as verbal and written communication is a must. Previous experience in a
field requiring customer service is preferred.
Previous processing experience preferred; experience as a Loan Originator is a plus.
Essential Job Functions:
 Deliver superb customer service, including competently coordinating and directing all aspects of the loan
process, keeping the customer well informed of same, and providing information and required documentation
to customers in a timely manner.
 Exercise sound professional judgment in all matters related to NOVA including knowledge of products, statutory

order to ensure compliance, able to maintain high level of confidentiality, ability to work in very fast paced environment,
