Prolotherapy Regenerative Orthopaedic Medicine Workshops
Cancun, Mexico, January 31 – February 7, 2015
BRAND NEW
This year in Cancun the AAOM is offering two workshops at the same time, same location,
with two levels of instruction.
(Registrants may register for and attend only one of the workshops)
The AAOM Cancun Prolotherapy and
Regenerative Injection Therapy Workshop
will provide the AAOM Core Curriculum for Prolotherapy and
Regenerative Injection Therapies that the AAOM is known
for, along with a 4 student to one teacher ratio and only
two students per each treatment table allowing almost individualized instruction. Each table of 2 students will have
patients scheduled such that each student will have the opportunity to inject patients with all types of pain including
back pain, patients with shoulder pain, patients with elbow
problems, patients with hip and pelvis pain, etc., so that
when you see these problems in your clinic you should be
comfortable with starting at least a basic treatment regimen. There will be plenty of patients to see but it will not
be overwhelming and there will be someone there to help
you at each step as you need it. Students must fulfill the
prerequisites necessary to attend the AAOM 2015 Cancun

Workshop
has been planned to follow the format of the AAOM Core
Curriculum for Prolotherapy and Regenerative Injection

AAOM Prolotherapy Workshop
ANNOUNCEMENT
What Workshop Attendees Have to Say
About Their AAOM Prolotherapy Workshop Experience
“The Cancun AAOM Workshop has been
invaluable in my training as a prolotherapist
treating sports medicine as well as chronic
musculoskeletal injuries. The workshop
is well organized with practical lectures
and hands on diagnostic and injection
techniques lead by many of the top
physicians in the world. The repetitions
and one- on- one instruction alone is worth
the trip, not to mention the community of
physicians who embrace and foster your
learning experience. It is “a must” for those
wanting to learn or perfect their anatomical
and injection techniques for what I believe
is rapidly becoming the orthopedics of the
future!” - J. Mike Carlson, DO
“Being the first Hong Kong and Asian Dr to
attend the AAOM’s Mexico Hands-On Prolotherapy workshop in 2008 and 2009, and
being able to teach in Cancun workshop in
2014, I am in the right position to introduce
this “MUST ATTEND” hands on workshop to
all doctors who are learning prolotherapy
and want to start doing prolotherapy and
regenerative medicine. The workshop is very
well organized with 1-hour morning practical
lectures and hands on diagnostic and injection techniques instructed by the leaders
of Prolotherapy and Pain Management in
the world. The teaching faculty are sharing
their knowledge and skills unselfishly. It is
followed by all hands on clinic, treating real
patients, for 7-8 hours a day, initially one-onone instruction by the great teaching faculty,
and by the time of finishing the workshop in
the end of the week, most attendees were
able to professionally perform a critical diagnostic examination, and treat the common
musculoskeletal pain problems or sports
injuries safely with prolotherapy. Attendees
will perfect with the mechanism of prolotherapy, how to treat the root causes of the pain
effectively, the clinical anatomy knowledge
and of course the needling techniques! The
population of the patients were awesome,
most of them could not afford to receive
expensive treatment, but they are great
people, respectful and grateful to the treatment provided by the whole team of AAOM
Drs. The location is the perfect, convenient
to all parts of the world, and the duration of
the workshop is just right! No matter which
countries you’re coming from, this is the best
hands on workshop you MUST attend!” Stanley Lam, MBBS
“If you’re tired of going to courses that are
“all talk” and no results go the the AAOM
Mexico Prolotherapy workshop. I have a
few years of experience doing prolotherapy, and my productivity doing prolotherapy
more than doubled after returning from the
workshop. It is an invaluable experience to
work alongside other physicians who use
prolotherapy. I learned new techniques and
was able to fine tune the skills I already had.
The lectures, which are excellent thanks to
the knowledge base of the accomplished
AAOM faculty, are far more profound in a
course like this where you actually perform
prolotherapy on real patients. If you have
not attended this course it is a must for physicians who practice prolotherapy.” Dr. Jacob DiCesare, DO
”The AAOM prolotherapy Cancun workshop
is a “must - attend” for physicians desiring
expert teaching and hands-on experience
in a wonderful setting. The faculty is truly
world class. The trip was well organized and
exceeded my expectations. You can’t get this
training and experience anywhere else.” Donald J. Voelker, MD, FACC,FSCAI, FSCCT
