If you wish to offer a Mass Intention please contact the
Parish Office. Because we receive a high number of
requests, some Mass Intentions will be sent to other
parishes to be celebrated.
Daily Prayers
We invite you to spend a few moments each
day this week praying for these Intentions ...
- for those who live without the basic necessities of life
- for our parish community as we give thanks for our many
blessings and that we share with those less fortunate
- for the faith community of Bread of Life Lutheran Church
If you are in need of the Power of Prayer, please, let
us pray for you or if you wish to join in prayer for
others, call Lila Giesinger at 306-789-1600.
We Express our Deepest Sympathy to the families of
Anna Tsang and Gerard Lizee. May Anna, Gerard, and
all the souls of the Faithful Departed rest in peace.
World Mission Sunday – October 19
This is a worldwide collection for the missionary church
that provides emergency aid when disasters strike, cares
for refugees in war torn countries, and provides rural
health clinics and transportation for priests, catechists,
and lay pastoral workers. Every parish across the world
celebrates - a global sign of the Universal Church and
Mission. Your prayers and donations will help support
churches, hospitals, schools and vocations in countries
there the Church is beginning and new.

The 15 Annual Archdiocesan Appeal The life of
Christian stewardship challenges us to see God, and not
ourselves, as the true source of all we have and to see
these things not as commodities we’ve earned to do with
as we choose, but as gifts we’ve been given to fulfill God’s
own purpose. The Archdiocesan Annual Appeal invites us
to make Christian stewardship an integral part of our daily
lives, making a return to God in proportion to what we
have been given. Resurrection Parish Goal: $70, 745

Thank You for your most generous donations for
humanitarian aid in Africa and to Delta airlines who
shipped the bags free of charge. We delivered the items
to a community school in a small town called Vaalwater in
the province of Limpopo and an orphanage called
Waterberg Welfare Society who cares for 28 children with
Aids and 20 without. They were so appreciative of the
gifts, which we consider everyday items and often take for
granted. God is so good! Blessing to all!
