Well, Fall is upon us and we will soon start to lose our snowbirds to the draw of the warmer climates. But we should still have
plenty of good riding weather ahead of us. We had a very busy September. A good time was had by all at the Steak Fry at Tom &
Pat's. The September Mystery ride was a very nice ride led by Mike and Andie to Dravenstott's restaurant in Orville. The Bikers
for Boobs Poker Run was a huge success raising approximately $16,000, with about 486 bikes and over 800 people attending. For
the God's Tiny Angels Charity Ride we had 7 bikes show up and it was a great ride with lots of nice roads. For our Chapter ride
on 9/20 we had 7 bikes for the ride to Lisbon where we ate fair food and walked around the Johnny Appleseed festival. Our intention was to go to the Steel Trolley restaurant but it is a small place and the timing wasn't right to get everyone in, so I guess
we'll have to try that another time.

October is the last month to meet at the plaza at 6:00 for dinner rides to the restaurant. Starting in November we meet at the
restaurant at 6:30.

Secretary’s Report

Secretary Report – Sept 9, 2014 Meeting
Meeting was called to order by Keith Williams who led the Pledge of Allegiance. Meeting was attended by 29 members and two
guests.
Bike Night at Canfield Fair Aug 28th – was attended by Mike/Andie, Chuck/Kathy.
Steak Fry on Sept 1st – a good time was had by all at Tom and Pat’s. We thank them for their hospitality.
September 2nd Mystery Ride was led by Mike and Andie. It was a nice ride to Dravenstott’s in Orville (sister restaurant to the
Smithville Barn). October ride on October 7th will be led by Mike and Mary.
Bikers for Boobs Poker Run on Sept 7th it was beautiful weather and a great route. Attended by Mike/Andie, Fred/Peg, Bruce/
Paula, Bruce’s brother/sister-in-law, Gordon/Connie, Keith/Vickie, Jim/Julie, Rick Smith, Kathy Fishburn, Al/Ginger.
Region D Rally is Sept 11-13 in Indiana. Chuck and Kathy Fishburn will be representing Chapter T. Also, Chuck and Kathy have
decided to run for District Couple of the Year.
Tiny Angel’s Poker Run – Sept 14th – see flyer in August newsletter. Group will be leaving Frontier at 10am for the ride.

work for two weeks.
Keith introduced Roy and Becky Jones – new ADD for Northeast area and Chapter M CDs. They talked about upcoming
events (District Rally, Buckeye Time-out, November 4th Staff Meeting) and thanked Keith for volunteering our chapter to help
with Buckeye Rally at Canfield Fair next year.
Keith closed the meeting – next meeting is Tuesday, Oct 14th. Dinner at 6pm, meeting at 7pm

Wow!!! Mother Nature saved the best of Summer 2014 for last.
If you have not been on your bike this last week you missed the boat. It has been perfect. Sounds like the group that rode with
Hill Sunday had a good ride.
Fred and I, after breakfast with the Chapter at the Frontier and then church, decided it was just too nice to stay home. So we
changed to riding gear and headed our bike to Loudonville to visit Freds' brother Tom. We took a scenic route through Amish
country, had a good visit with Tom, took a different route home, stopped in Canton for dinner and arrived home around 7:00
P.M.
What a great day.
Now it is Monday and we are all back to normal activities. We are looking forward to our annual Chili Bash this coming Sat. Oct.
4. Also, do not forget the last Mystery Ride of this year on Oct. 7. Hope we see you there.
October birthdays are to be celebrated by Vickie Williams, Pat Feemster, Colleen Hudson and Charlotte Memmer.
Jeff and Diane Popa have an anniversary on October 18.

Chuck & Kathy Fishburn will host the 2014 Chili Bash at their home located
at 3188 Alexander Rd, Atwater (Randolph).
Bring enough chili for yourself/selves and a dish or dessert to share. There
will be a roaster for the “mild” chili and another roaster for the “hot” chili,
crackers, sour cream, onions, and cheese. We also plan to have hot dogs and
buns and all the fixins! Drinks will also be provided.
There will be a fire in our firepit if the weather permits. S’mores anyone?
