Pastor Appreciation Sunday
Next Sunday, October 19th, is Pastor Appreciation Sunday. Please use the enclosed card

Operation Christmas Child mission trip
Compassion Ministries will be sending a team
to the new Samaritan’s Purse processing
center in Baltimore, MD, December 5th-7th.
Applications are now being accepting online

would like to be a part of this team, please
come to a brief meeting following each
service today in Classroom #3, led by Cindy

Next Child Dedication
Our next child dedication will be on Sunday,
December 14th. If you would like to participate, the required Faith Milestone class will be
on Sunday, November 2nd. You must also turn
in an application, which may be picked up at
the Creation Station desk. Spots are limited,

There are two opportunities to gather with
Voice of the Martyrs to hear about and pray
for the persecuted Church around the world.

Would you join us as we host hundreds of kids
from our region and tell them how awesome
God has made them? Sign up at the Victory
Kidz registration area. (If you have previously
joined as a VBS volunteer, we are very much

Baptism in the Holy Spirit Class
We will be sharing Scriptures and praying for
those who would like to receive the Baptism
in the Holy Spirit, Friday nights before River
Services at 6:00pm. Please bring your Bible
and come expecting. Classroom #2.
Victory Healing Rooms
In the World Prayer Center on the first and
third Wednesday of every month. It is a place
to receive compassionate and confidential
prayer from 7:00-8:30pm. There is a trained
prayer team that can pray with you if you
are struggling either physically, mentally,
emotionally, or spiritually. Come October 15th
for a time of prayer to be healed!

It’s Not Too Late - How God uses less than
perfect people
Join Pastor Jerome Minor for a video series
and teaching by Tony Evans.
Moses, Rahab, Jacob, Esther, Peter and Saraheach one possessed significant character
flaws or committed sins that seem to threaten
their usefulness in God’s kingdom. Yet God
used these less than perfect people to do
incredible things. A book and workbook are
available in Quest Bookstore, but are not
necessary. A sign-up sheet will be at the
Information Center starting October 19th.

Bluegrass Music & Dessert Social on Saturday,
October 18th at 6:00pm. Come and enjoy live

our fine bakers here in Columbiana. A freewill

Fall Fun!
The Fall Fun Fest and Chili Cook-off are just
around the corner! Mark your calendars for
Wednesday, October 29th. At 6:00pm, we will
have our annual Chili Cook-off. Bring your
best recipes to the table as there is a blue
ribbon to be won. (Not to mention bragging
rights!) Wednesday Night Kidz will enjoy their
Fall Fun Fest after dinner, with games, prizes,
fun, and candy galore. Be sure to sign up for
a table to give out candy to our children.You
won’t want to miss this exciting evening!

Wednesday Night Kidz are learning about the
power of prayer from the book, “The Power of
a Praying Kid “ by Stormie Omartian. It’s a look
at prayer through little eyes. They are discovering that God wants to hear from them and
He listens to their prayers. Never underestimate the power of a praying kid!

Lost & Found cabinet
There is a file cabinet in the Office where we
are placing all items left at the Church. We
will only hold items for one month. After that,
they will be donated to the Salvation Army
or the City Rescue Mission. Please call the
Church Office any time to ask if your missing
item has been placed in the cabinet.

Fusion Young Adult Event – Tue., Oct. 21st,

“TRIBUTE” event hosted by the RIOT at Coitsville. Gather with other VCC campuses and
surrounding churches to worship the Lord by
displaying our gift as praise to Him. There will
be original music, prophetic painting, spoken
word, skits, creative videos, free food (Chick
fil-A), photo booth, and fellowship. Come join
us for a great evening!

Youth! Join us, along with the other campuses, as we attend the G3 Gathering on Wednesday, October 22nd, at our Coitsville Campus.
Also, we will be attending the SAGA drama
at the RIOT in Coitsville on Thursday, October

The Legacy G3 Gathering will be held at
the Coitsville Campus October 22nd25th. We are encouraging you to attend

2015 New Year’s Eve Celebration Volunteers
Victory@Coitsville is having a New Year’s
Eve Celebration that includes all campuses.
Service is from 10:00pm-Midnight, with an
after-party of a DJ and finger food. Volunteers needed are: Greeters, Ushers, Security,
Worship Team, Sound, Powerpoint/Lighting,
Victory Kidz Prayer Team, Youth, Nursery, and
an Event Team, which will be decorating, setting up, and serving food, plus tear down. If

Chili Cook-off
Our 2nd annual Chili Cook-off is only 1 week
away on Sunday, October 19th. So, pull out
your favorite recipes for chili. Don’t have a
favorite chili recipe? Bring your favorite side
dish or fall dessert. Bring your appetites, too,
as you’ll get to taste test each one. The one
voted for the most will win a prize. Please
bring your chili in a crockpot so we can keep
them hot. The church will provide refreshments and condiments. Starting time will be
3:00pm - ? in our beautiful pavilion.
