National Board of Examinations Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB-CET)Mock Test Registration Guide Important Instructions 1. In order to appear for the DNB-CET Mock Test, make sure you have already registered for the DNB-CET actual test. 2. Please visit the website www.cet.natboard.edu.in and refer to the registration guide for instructions to register for the DNB-CET Mock test 3. Ensure you have a valid and unique email address before you begin the registration process for the Mock test on the Website https://ibt.prometric.com/NBE Overview To register to take the DNB-CET Mock Test, go to www.cet.natboard.edu.in and click on the “Register for DNB-CET” link. You can register for the DNB-CET Mock Test from 9 September – 18 November 2014. During registration, you will: 1. Pay for the test 2. Receive a voucher 3. Create a profile for the mock test and take test on the website https://ibt.prometric.com/NBE Estimated time to complete this process: 15 minutes. Opening Screen As you have already registered for the DNB-CET official test, you will be required to login back into your profile using your username and password you have created during initial registration. Click on “Log In” button to view your profile. 1 Apply for DNB-CET Mock Test Once you have logged into your profile, on the welcome back page, you will view your profile details along with the DNBCET 2015 Application summary. On the top right hand corner, you will see a button to “Schedule Another Exam”. Click on the button and you will be taken to the exam selection screen. To register for Mock test, please select DNB-CET Mock Test from the drop down menu. Click on Save and Continue. Exam Information Once the DNB-CET Mock Test is selected, click on Save & Continue button. The next screen will be the exam information screen which will provide important information related to Mock Test. Please read the instructions carefully. Once you have gone through the information click on Continue. You will be redirected to a screen that will further take you the payment page. 2 Make Online Payment You will be required to pay the exam fees (Rs 1000) online using your credit/debit cards issued by banks in India or through net banking. Please select your payment option from the tabs indicated on the Make Payment Screen and fill in the required information. Once all the information has been entered, click on Make Payment button. Upon successful authorization of payment, your profile will be registered and you will receive an application email within 24 hours on your registered email address. Note: Payment can only be made online for DNB-CET Mock Test Voucher Once the payment is successful, you will receive a voucher number in the application email. The voucher number can also be viewed on the Welcome Back page under your profile. Please make a note of your voucher number. This will be used to schedule your Mock Test. Please read the instructions given in this manual carefully to schedule the test. Please note: Voucher can be used only once. You will not be able to reuse the voucher or attempt to take another Mock Test with the voucher. Voucher can be redeemed beginning 26 September till 25 November 2014. Application Email Once your DNB-CET Mock Test payment is complete, a summary of your application will be sent to you via email on the registered email address within 24 hours. Please save and print a copy of the application for your records. The application email will contain your voucher number for future reference. To the right is an example of what your email application summary will look like. You should expect to receive this email within 24 hours of submitting your completed application. 3 How to Take the Mock Test In order to schedule for your Mock test, please visit the website https://ibt.prometric.com/NBE The home screen will give you two options Secure Sign In First – time Registration As you are entering the system for the first time, click on First Time Registration to begin the process. The next screen will ask you to select a Test Provider or Program. By default, NBEI will be selected on the screen. Click on Continue and move the next screen On the next screen, you will be required to choose “I Agree” or “I Disagree” to the “Privacy Notice for Users of Prometric Systems”. This policy affirms that you are eligible to take the DNB-CET Mock Test and all the information that you are entering is correct. After reading this section, you need to choose “I agree,” in order to proceed to the next section. If you select “I disagree,” you will not be allowed to proceed. 4 First Time Registration As you are entering the system for Mock Test the first time, you will be required to enter the basic contact information and create a username and password for your profile. This will enable you to login into the system anytime in the future. If you ever forget your username and/or password, it can be sent to you at the email address you indicated on your registration. Fields marked with are mandatory. Click on Submit button once you have entered all relevant information. If you choose “Submit” and you have not completed any mandatory fields (marked by ), or you have entered any information incorrectly, an error message will appear on the screen. In this example, password entered is incorrect and is not meeting the required specifications. 5 If all information is entered correctly, your profile will be registered. You will see a Welcome screen. Please click on the Continue button to move ahead. Next, you will be taken to the Main Menu Screen. In order to take the Mock test, click on the “Take Test” link as indicated Clicking on Take Test will take you to a series of screens step wise to begin the test. Step 1 – This screen asks you to select a Test Sponsor. For DNB-CET Mock Test, Under the column Public Test, select the test sponsor as NBEI. Click on Submit and move to the next screen. Step 2 – This screen enables you to select the Mock test you wish to appear for. Please note: the screen will show all the Mock Tests that are being currently delivered for the test sponsor NBEI. You need to select the appropriate Mock Test in order to take the test. In this case, please select DNB-CET Mock Test. 6 Step 3 – This is the Confirm Test Selection Screen. You must review the information on the screen and then click on “Take This Test” Button Step 5 – Next you will taken to the Promotions/Vouchers screen where you will be required to enter the voucher number in the box provided. The voucher number has been sent to you in the application email on your registered email address. Once the voucher number is keyed in, click on the Continue button. You will be taken to the next screen. This screen provides additional information about the Mock Test. Click on Begin Test button to start the exam. 7 DNB-CET Mock test can be taken during the window of 26 September to 25 November 2014. The registration window is from 9 September to 18 November 2014. DNB-CET Mock Test is administered over 180 minutes in computer-based format. The DNB-CET Mock Test includes 200 multiple-choice (MC) questions that cover the same subject areas as the official DNB-CET Examination. Score Report and Feedback Once you have taken the exam, you will be able to view your performance at the same time. Score report will be displayed on the screen after clicking the “End test” option. Kindly take the print of the score report as the same will not be available once you finish the test. The Score Report will contain the following information: 1) Your name, address and email address you have entered while creating a profile to take the Mock Test 2) Prometric testing id - This id is different from the Testing id generated for the official AIPGME exam. For any queries pertaining to the Mock Test, please provide the testing id that begins with “PR” to the candidate care team. 3) Exam title – The exam title will be DNB-CET Mock Test 4) Start and End time of the test – this indicates the time when you started giving the test and when the test ended 5) Passing Score – the passing score required for the Mock Test 6) Your Score – the score obtained by you in the test. 7) Feedback – the feedback will provide a complete summary of the questions asked as well the right answer and the rationale behind it. The hypothesis will enable you to think about the choices you will make while taking the official exam. 8) Print – Print option will allow you to take a print of the score report for future reference.
