Key Highlights:
Nifty Futures managed to respect the support range of 7830—7800.
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
Nifty Futures opened weak and gradually recovered throughout the session to end the day with a gain of 25 points at 7911.
The index formed a bullish piercing candlestick pattern on daily chart which indicates bullish momentum may intact in coming sessions.
Going forward the range of 7830 to 7800 would now serve as important support, holding which there may still be some bounce back attempts seen.
The upside may however not be sustainable as there is a severe set of resistance placed at 8010 and beyond that at 8100.
We recommend a positional stop loss of 7800 (closing) for Nifty long positions as a move below this level may induce a deeper decline till 7755.
On the weekly time frame it is the fifth consecutive negative close for the index and the momentum measures are still in a sell.
Thus any upside bounce are not sustainable and Nifty Futures would continue to remain susceptible to declines till the time 8100 is not cleared.
The intraday support levels for Nifty Futures are placed at 7855 and 7800 whereas the resistance levels are placed at 7950 and 8010.
