entries will be accepted for the Morning Test until 9:00 AM and the Afternoon Test until 11:00
AM on the day of the test. Pre-entries can not be accepted, canceled or substituted after the

THIS CLUB DOES NOT AGREE TO ARBITRATE CLAIMS AS SET FORTH ON THE
OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORM FOR THESE EVENTS.
Eligible Breeds: Dachshunds and Terrier Breeds - Australian, Bedlington, Border, Cairn,
Cesky, Dandie Dinmont, Glen of Imaal, Parson Russell, Lakeland, Manchester, Miniature Bull,
Miniature Pinscher, Miniature Schnauzer, Norfolk, Norwich, Rat, Russell, Scottish, Sealyham,
Silky, Skye, Smooth Fox, Welsh, West Highland White, Wire Fox and Yorkshire.
Move Ups: Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the written request of the owner, as the
result of qualifying for an Earthdog title. Such requests must be received by the Test Secretary
no later the 8:15 AM on the day of the Test. Such move ups will be accepted regardless of the
class entry. Dogs moving up will be added at the end of the running order for that class.
Notice To All Exhibitors
• Dogs must be at least 6 months of age, register with the AKC or an AKC recognized foreign
registry or have been granted an ILP or PAL number. Neutered or spayed entries are allowed.
• Bitches in season may not be entered. Refunds will not be given to bitches in season unless
withdrawn before entries close.
• Pre-entries that include an e-mail address will be acknowledged by e-mail.
• Orientation will begin at the stated start time for each class
• Master Earthdog braces will be drawn 15 minutes before the class start time. All entries must
be checked in no later than 30 minutes before the class start time. Dogs not present within 5
minutes after its brace is called will be marked absent by the judge.
• Fees must accompany entries. No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fees. No
phone entries will be accepted.
Notes applicable to all tests, both days
• Dogs not running a test must be on leash or confined at all times. Owners are responsible for
the safety of their dog(s) and for any actions of their dog(s). Excessive correction or abusive
treatment is grounds for disciplinary action.
• Regulations for Earthdog Tests may be obtained from the American Kennel Club, 5580
Centerview Dr., Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27606-3390. Phone: (919) 233 - 9780
• Overnight camping at the Test Site is available by advance arrangement with the Test
Secretary only. No hook-ups are available.
• Express mail entries must include signature permitting them to be left at the secretary’s office
without recipient’s signature.
• Master Earthdog is open only to dogs that have earned the Senior or Master Earthdog title
before entries close.
• Senior Earthdog is open only to dogs that have earned the Junior or Master Earthdog title
before entries close.
• Junior Earthdog is open to all eligible dogs that have not recorded or received a qualifying leg
in a Senior Test, and those dogs that have earned a Master Earthdog title.
• The test will be run rain or shine, bring your own shade/tenting for you and your dog.
Lunch
A simple hot lunch will be served free of charge for all exhibitors, guests, workers and judges
between tests. Free hot and cold beverages will be provided throughout the day. Water is
available for the dogs.
Directions to Trial Site
From Rte 8 north or south bound, take exit 42, Rte 118, East towards Harwinton. Proceed
approximately 1 mile to Wildcat Hill Road on the right. Turn onto Wildcat Hill Road and
proceed for 1.8 miles to 370 Wildcat Hill Road which is on the left.
From I-84 westbound through Hartford, follow to Exit 39, Rte 4, Farmington. Follow Rte 4
west through Farmington, Burlington and into the center of Harwinton. At the traffic light,
proceed straight onto Rte 118. Proceed west on Rte 118 for approximately 1.5 miles to Wildcat
Hill Road on the left. Turn onto Wildcat Hill Road and proceed for 1.8 miles to 370 Wildcat
Hill Road which is on the left. .

This is leaf peeping season; pet friendly hotels may be scarce, so make your reservations early
