About Us
PT Transkon Jaya is an established local company
based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, specializing
in 4x4 Vehicle rentals, Servicing & Maint, ‘On site’
Workshops and Parts Supply to the mining and oil
& gas industries.
Head Office is located in Balikpapan. Site workshops are located at some 20 Mine sites in East/
South/Central Kalimantan to provide on-site support services at those locations and to the surrounding areas.

Transkon mine prep fit out for Double Cabin and Wagon may include optional ROPS (Roll Over Protection System)
for maximum occupant safety & security. This ROPS is made by an International Company to comply with International Safety Certification. ROPS for Wagon unit using 6 point and for Double Cabin using 4 point.

BHP Billiton - As well as being a supplier
of Rental LV’s and Special Vehicles such
as Ambulance & Rescue vehicles, Transkon has a LV Management & Supply
protocol with BHPB at their Central Kalimantan projects, PT Julai Coal, PT Lahai
Coal involving a number of locations –
Maruwai, Tuhup, Bumbun & Haju.
Petrosea – supply and manage most
of their LV’s at mine sites in East &
South Kalimantan – including Projects
such as Gunung Bayan, Santan, ABN,
Kideco.
Orica/ DNX/ AEL Explosives Companies – Transkon supply and manage
their LV fleets at several mine sites,
including KPC - Sangatta, Kideco, Gunung Bayan, Separi, MSJ, Satui, Wahana, Berau, AKT-Tuhup etc. Plus their
vehicles based in Balikpapan, in addition Transkon have supplied many
specialized vehicles such as Explosives & Logging vehicles.

supply and manage their LV fleets at

Wahana, Melak, MSJ, KPC and also at
their Balikpapan bases. Due to Transkon’s high level of Service, Safety & LV
Availability Transkon has become their
preferred supplier for LV & Special Vehicles such as Ambulances
Halliburton – Transkon are an approved
supplier of Light Vehicles to Halliburton,

including vehicles fitted with specialised
Service Bodies. Supplier approval process is very comprehensive and stringent and
requires the highest standards with supplier/company ethics,
safety regime & quality regime.
Liebherr – Transkon supply all Liebherr LV’s to support their heavy equipment commitments and operations
on many sites in East, South & Central Kalimantan, allowing them to get
on with their core business of sales &

of LV’s for operations on-site and in

Catering Companies – Transkon are
the supplier of light vehicles for several Catering companies in East, South
& Central Kalimantan, including specialized vehicles with Full size Aluminum lockable Box for transportation of
their catering & food supplies.
MPP – Transkon supply 4 x 4 LV’s unit
on their Mining Project both Double
Cabin and Wagon completed with Transkon Mineprep Standard.
KPC - Sangatta and Bengalon sites –
Transkon supply approx 80 rental vehicles to various Contractors at these
