It’s the time of year when we finally get around to making certain decisions. Becoming Catholic, whether from another Christian tradition, or from no faith tradition, is a process of conversion over time. Each person’s journey is unique. If you, or someone you know, has ever considered becoming Catholic, please contact Fr Tim or Andrew Beach (for a young person). We have different processes for babies, youth and adults all beginning in the fall. If you would like to accompany any of these groups, please speak to Fr Tim. We are always looking for members of the parish to learn and grow with those who are exploring the faith. Help St Pius X Parish to be An Initiating Community. THANKSGIVING PRAYER This Thanksgiving let those of us who have much and those who have little gather at the welcoming table of the Lord. At this blessed feast, may rich and poor alike remember that we are called to serve one another and to walk in God’s gracious world. With thankful hearts we praise our God who, like a loving parent, denies us no good things. Today and every day, it pleases God for us to sit as brothers and sisters as we share the bounty of the earth and the grace God has placed in each soul. For this we all give thanks and praise to our loving and gracious God. WORLD MISSION SUNDAY Next Sunday, every parish across the world will celebrate World Mission Sunday. It is a global sign of the Universal Church and Mission. Your prayers and donations will help support churches, hospitals, schools and vocations in countries where the Church is beginning, where it is new.
