Failure to provide all these details will result in the Church not being able to reclaim the tax on your donations. Recently we have received a number of envelopes where these details have not been completed and therefore cannot submit a claim for the tax reclaim. Gardening Thank you to Lorna and Gerald Osmond who did a great job of clearing the paths in the Garden of Remembrance last week. Now we want more help please. On Saturday 25th October we need as many people as possible with secateurs, saws, spades etc. to help us to tidy and clear the beds at either side of the west boor of the Parish Church. It will be great to have your company between 10am & 1pm, coffee & biscuits will be available. Musicathon Well done to Mike and all those who sang for this event, it was fantastic. The Food Bank There is a steady flow of referrals to our local Food Bank. This has now been operational for a year during which there have been 97 referrals, of which 53 involved families with children, ranging in age from a few weeks to 17 years old. E4 The ‘E4’ clergy and churchwardens have agreed that the P.C.C.s (this parish, St Edmund’s, St Anne’s and Highams Park) meet together on 8th November, 2 to 4pm in order to further cooperation. Each Church is asked what particular strengths or gifts it has and can share. Please think about this and tell the PCC members what you believe the Old Church can contribute.
