UF in London Athletic Medicine Summer A: June 1 - 11, 2015 About the Program The course will include both lecture material and a 10-day learning experience in London. The field experience in London and surrounding areas are dedicated to exploration and investigative learning in relevant medical and science museums and university research labs dedicated to evolution of Sports Medicine. The course will cultivate critical thinking and promote a better understanding of how doctors and their discoveries impact modern clinical sports medicine. Identify the Scientific Discoveries which Influence Medical Advancement and Clinical Sports Medicine Practice. Analyze and Discuss Potential Future Implications of Medical Discoveries on Sports Medicine Practice. Explore Historic and Present-Day British Culture, While Learning Firsthand about the Foundations of Sports Medicine Through Seminars and Interactive Musuem and Library Tours. UFIC recommends that you speak with your financial aid advisor about your financial aid eligibility for study abroad. The remaining fees are due no later than 45 days prior to departure. If you receive financial aid, you can defer payment until it disburses. Deferment decisions will be based on the amount of aid to be received. What’s Included: Tuition for 6 UF GPA credits, double-occupancy 3-star hotel, internet access, daily breakfast, in-country transportation (including to and from airport), welcome and farewell dinners, entrance fees, tour expenses, gratuities, taxes, cost of instruction and administration (including technology), international health insurance, and emergency medical assistance.
