$25,000 donation to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Oct. 13, 2014) – Denny’s guests can experience a taste of TNT’s ‘On the Menu’ for
themselves as the brand unveils the winning signature dish, Apple Danish Stuffed French Toast, created
exclusively on the new cooking competition series. Available now, the delicious creation developed by
home cook Ryan Abramson, beat stiff culinary competition from fellow contestants vying for the
coveted prize of being featured on Denny’s menu nationwide.
“We’re incredibly excited to be involved in such a unique show that honors talented home cooks across
the country,” said John Dillon, @DillonJohnW, vice president of marketing for Denny’s. “As America’s
Diner, we’re passionate about celebrating the flavors of our nation and incorporating our own culinary
spin, which is why Ryan’s signature creation was a perfect fit for our menu. The combination of sweet
and savory ingredients with a tasty twist is one we know all our guests will love, and we hope they enjoy
this winning dish as much as we did!”
The limited time menu item, priced at just $7.99, features a delicious mix of whipped cream cheese and
warm apple filling, stuffed between two thick slices of French toast drizzled with cinnamon sauce, and
served with crispy hash browns topped with crumbled chorizo sausage and onions. Guests craving a
bigger bite may add two eggs cooked to order and a choice of bacon or sausage for just $2 more.
