Invitation to Confession
Post Communion Prayer
God the Father forgives us in Christ and heals us
by the Holy Spirit. Let us therefore put away all
anger and bitterness, all slander and malice, and
confess our sins to God our redeemer.
Lord, we pray that your grace may always
precede and follow us, and make us continually
to be given to all good works; through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
The Collect
Blessing
Almighty God, you have made us for yourself,
and our hearts are restless till they find their
rest in you: pour your love into our hearts and
draw us to yourself, and so bring us at last to
your heavenly city where we shall see you face
to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of
the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
God the Holy Trinity make you strong in faith
and love, defend you on every side, and guide
you in truth and peace; and the blessing of
God almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be among you and remain with you
always. Amen.
