Are you ready for some new adventures this year? From starting your own cookie business, to exploring the woods and earning badges in everything from dancing to pet care, Girl Scouts offers cool stuff for every girl and every interest. We would like to invite all girls and their caregivers to a special introductory event. Girls can sample a variety of activities and get a little taste of Girl Scouts, while caregivers have a chance to learn about opportunities to join and volunteer. We hope you can make it! If you can’t join us this time, visit our website at http://gsnw.gl/gsjoin14 or give us a call! If you attend Haen, Quinney, or NDLC: Date: Wednesday, October 8, 2014 Time: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Place: Kaukauna City Hall, Community Room If you attend Tanner or Park: Date: Wednesday, October 8, 2014 Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Place: Kaukauna City Hall, Community Room *Girls currently registered with a troop need not attend. For more information, contact: Sarah Kinate at 920.955.3356 or [email protected] We will have a few fun activities for girls while the grown ups learn how to get girls involved. There are plenty of opportunities for adults to volunteer and help with troop leadership. We are adding to our existing troops and starting new troops as well! Girl Scout troops do all sorts of exciting things, from earning badges, to exploring nature, going on field trips, creating crafts, participating in the cookie program, and more! The National Membership fee is $20 for girls for the year and most troops also charge annual dues to help cover costs, but financial assistance is available. Please come and learn what Girl Scouts has to offer!
