CORONADO SPEED FEST
Most club members missed a great experience!! The Coronado Speed Fest at North Island brought the best of the
past in race cars and drivers to San Diego. Thanks go out to Dennis Darnall for once again organizing our club's
Corral Pass participation. A bonus feature this year where the off road trucks from stadium events that were a big
hit. Viewing of over 300 cars from other car clubs, roaming the pits and speaking to drivers, examining the under
hood secrets of these legendary race cars and watching the bumper to bumper action on the 1.7 mile race course
were highlights of this beautiful day in Coronado.
Congratulations !!! to our Web Master, Rich Scharf for his award winning on the 10th Anniversary of The Japanese Classic Car
Show in Long Beach, CA. Rich had his beautiful and newly restored 1600 Datsun Roadster. The car is absolutely beautiful and
precisely restore by Rich .
Congratulations to our friend and ZCCIV member ,John Williams for his JCCCS award with his super duper “ Hot Wheels” Datsun
510 Wagon. This car brought more smiles than a circus clown on crack . John thank you for the wonderful master piece you have
created don’t know where you get the time to do all that you do ,but we all really enjoy it.

In Loving Memory
Sad news, Gloria Libonate passed away September 21 after battling heart and kidney problems for
several months. Our heartfelt prayers go out to Michael and his family in this sad time. Gloria's
beaming smile and loving personality made everyone seem like a dear friend. She was a kind,
kind lady, and we will miss her dearly.

the Dyno Day and BBQ at the Santee Dyno Shop ,
this event is put together by Lenny Arnoth, thanks
Lenny and Sheri for this awesome event. There is
also a new Brewery walking distance from the Dyno Shop and it may be a nice addition to thee
event. Also we had as a guest speaker in the September meeting our friend and Empire Z President , Mr. John Moran extending us a cordial invitation to their 8th Annual Car show , this is a very
nice show with a nice drive to San Bernardino, The
food is great and their T-shirts are always awesome.
We also have from our friends and sister club

the most stress free and
fun car show you could
ever attend , you will feel
like family here . Shalena
and Bill Williamson are
the best hostess ever in
their SoCal Wax shop.
Come and take care of the
awesome discount on all
the detailing products

products that make cleaning , detailing and maintaining your Z car looking good.
Hope to see you all at the
meeting. Wally will be
giving a presentation of concentric rings that are
use to centralize and align your car wheels to your
cars wheel hubs .
