Pastors represent many things to a congregation — leader, visionary, spiritual guide, shepherd, administrator, preacher, and teacher. Because of the significant role that pastors play in the life of the church, October is set aside as Clergy Appreciation Month. Let’s each take time to thank Pastor Ken Sauer for serving East Ridge UMC with such wonderful dedication, sacrifice, and service.
