So you say!
We often think that communication is a one way thing, with comments like, why
don’t they tell us? or why do they keep us in the dark?, sometimes being heard
in organisations. Yet, effective communication needs to be a two way thing, with
messages being both given and received. Jesus knew this, he often drew aside
(Matt 26:36-39) to speak with and listen (John 5:19) to His Father. Jesus is a
good model for us, when we are tempted to make comments, like those above, we
should remember that we all have a part to play in improving communication by
both receiving information and in providing feedback. Please help improve our
communication by providing constructive feedback, we are always ready to listen.
