to yourself, and so bring us at last to your heavenly city where we shall see
you face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and
reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

LIFT TO CHURCH-Many of you will know Edith who usually sits at the front of
church with her carer. Edith hasn't been to church for some weeks now and, on
making enquiries, I have discovered that this is because of a lack of personnel to
bring her. If anyone would be willing to transport Edith to and from church on a
regular or occasional basis then please have a word with me. Thanks. Philip
CAR PARKING- Some local residents have complained that they are unable to
park near their homes because of church events. As these are public roads. not
much can be done, but I promised to pass on the complaint and ask that people
are considerate when parking by not blocking property access etc.
CAP money course—CAP are holding a series of courses to help with budgeting
and managing finances. They are free to attend and will be held on Tuesday
afternoons and evenings during October. If you are interested, please see the
notice board for details.
Rainbow Trust -We have received an appeal from the Rainbow Trust Children's
Charity. They are asking that people make use of the extra hour gained when the
clocks go back on 26th October by baking and selling cakes that day in aid of their
charity. For further details, take a look at their website: www.rainbowtrust.org.uk
CHRISTMAS FAIR-The Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday 29th November.

JAM JARS- Many thanks to those who responded to the appeal for jam jars for
use at the Christmas Fair. We now have more than enough so don't need any
more, thank you.
NEW SEEKERS - You are all invited to a Bring and Share lunch after the
service today- it will be hosted by the New Seekers group who have been reading
the Bible through since January 1st and are now three quarters of the way into this
wonderful book. This could be an opportunity for any of you who want to know
more about our journey through God's Word and maybe consider doing it yourself
next year. For further information please contact Joyce Hansell (0161 338 5602).
