T a b l e T e n n i s E n g l a n d Tournament Regulations, including Regulation R (racket re-rubbering), apply to this tournament. I.T.T.F. Regulations for International Competitions apply except those relating to the matters covered by the items marked (*) on this entry form. Rackets must comply with I.T.T.F. Regulations 3.2.1.3. Time-Out Regulation 3.4.4.2.does not apply to this tournament (*) Racket testing may take place at this tournament. No glueing of rackets will be allowed on the premises. 2. Completion and submission of this entry form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition including the variations from I.T.T.F. requirements. 3. Entrants in over 40 events must be 40 years of age or over on 1st January 2015. Entrants in other aged events must have attained the appropriate age before the date of the tournament. 4. Players may enter a maximum of three events that they are eligible for. The three entries may cover (a) 3 singles only, (b) 2 singles + 1 doubles, (c) 1 singles, 1 doubles + mixed doubles. 5. The last day for receipt of entries is Wednesday, October 1, 2014. The draw will take place on October 8, 2014 at 5 Alisan Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancs FY6 7QF. 6. Once the draw has been made no refund of entry fees will be given 7. Each entrant will receive an acknowledgement of entry, either by email, or by post if a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed; the acknowledgement will include the expected playing time(s) for their opening match in each event. 8. There will be no charge to competitors for admission to the venue. 9. Play throughout will be with Butterfly 3 Star White Balls. 27 Butterfly Europa tables will be used in courts measuring 10m x 5m*. Normal overhead lighting; minimum height of playing area 8m. 10. All Singles events will be drawn in qualifying groups of four, wherever possible. Seeded players in Singles will be required to play group matches. The WINNER and RUNNER-UP in each group will qualify for the knockout stage. Players finishing THIRD and FOURTH in their group will qualify for the PLATE competition. Only players who have played in a group will be eligible to play in the Plate Competition. The final position in each group will be decided in accordance with ITTF Regulation 3.7.5. All Doubles events will be drawn on a straight knockout basis. All matches will be the best of five games. 11. Each match will be controlled by an Umpire, whose decision will be final on all matters of fact, the decision of the Referee being final on matters of Law. Assistant Umpires may only be appointed for the finals at the Referees discretion. 12. Practice tables will not be available. Competitors will be permitted to practise on tables not in use, at the discretion of the Referee. 13. Clothing worn will be in accordance with the Table Tennis England. Appendix “C” to rules. 14. All competitors must report to the control table on arrival each day, and must not leave the hall, without first obtaining permission from the control table. 15. Refreshments are obtainable at the venue. Car parking facilities and changing rooms are available. 16. Competitors can enter events in a younger age group, subject to regulation 4. 17.
