Moto Taxi transfer to Nanay port for a period of 20 Minutes.
Arrival to Nanay port to get on board at “Citaracu Boat” to the “UNION”, birthplace of the
Amazon River formed by the Nanay River. (*)
Transfer to CITARACU LODGE Hostel Viewing Gray and Pink River Dolphins.
Exploration the Monkey Reserve where we will be in contact with the primates surrounded by
colourfull birds and giant Anaconda, as well as we learn more about our medicinal plants
(optional visit the Yaguas tribe.), Jungle walking during two hours and a half to chullachaqui farm
to be in contact with the Primary Forest, Live Nature and we will be able to make handicraft
fishing. By canoe.

Return to the lodge, Lunch and use the lodge facilities until time to return to Iquitos city.

the making of their crafts that can be bought or traded ( Trades )

 Activity of handicraft fishing through the Floating Raft or by Boat.
 Viewing Gray and Pink Dolphins and Amazon SUNSET.
 Dinner: 7:30 pm and listening of experiences, magical stories, myths and legends of the jungle
told by The Tour Guides.

Exploration the communities of: COSMOS, INDEPENDENCIA, BARRIO where we will be in contact
with the villagers also we’ll have the chance to spot the big tree called kapok tree o lupuna at its
local name(endangered) to visit those communities it will use a furgoneta of 4 whiles.
Return to the lodge and lunch: 1:00pm.
Use the lodge facilities until time to return to Iquitos city.

• Visit of a SHAMAN (Doctor of the forest) where will have the Authentic Shamanism Ceremony and
we will learn about the AYAHUASCA drink and Blooming baths, this ritual usually is 3 o 4 hours
depending on the amount of people.
° Dinner: 7:30 for who don’t going to have Ayahuasca.
°FOURTH DAY ESOTERIC TOUR AND MEDICINAL PLANT AYAHUASCA
° Visit the rescuet center of the alligators, paiches (arapaima gigas), and piranhas.
° Swimming in the lagoon and paddle an indigenous Dugout canoe.
° Lunch 1:00 pm and back to Iquitos.

°FOURTH DAY GIANT LILY PADS AND PREHISTORIC HOATZIN BIRD - (AYAHUASCA)
° Breakfast:7:00 am

Navigating by the Amazon River until arrive to yanayacu lake (black water) this morning and
devote the entire day to exploring the awesome biodiversity of the yanayacu lake. Here we enter
seasonally flooded low jungle or varzea. In this ecosystem, swarming lianas, arums, and
philodendrons wrap themselves around tree trunks and branches, becoming highways for ants,
caterpillars and arboreal mammals. And towering teak, mahogany, ficus, and kapok trees poke
out above the canopy layer and then we look for a place to walk for a period of 1 hour in a
primary forest searching the Hoatzin bird which is considered a prehistoric bird or (Shanshos),
also we will be surrounded by the water Giant lily pads. Native to varzea swamp these lilies grow
up to six and a half feet in diameter and their large spine and supporting ribs make them strong
enough to bear the weight of an infant. After our day immersed in the wonders of the Amazon,
we’ll celebrate in the lodge with our traditional local drink, a camu camu sour.

° Later we’ll have the visit of a shaman for those who is going to have Ayahuasca.
° Dinner: 7:30

RECOMENDACIONES:
A fin de garantizar que los días de estancia en el Albergue se conviertan en inolvidables, es
importante que los Pasajeros puedan traer consigo (de preferencia en una mochila y/o maletín
pequeño) en los Tours a realizar, algunos objetos indispensables tales como:
 Gorros u Sombreros y Lentes para Sol.
 En caso deseen bañarse en el Río llevar su Ropa de Baño, así como una Toalla de Cuerpo.
 Repelente contra insectos, así como Bloqueadores Solares.
 Cámara Filmadora y/o Fotográfica.
 Linterna para Caminata Nocturna.
 Poncho para protegerse de la Lluvia.
 Botas.
 Botellas de Agua suficientes para el Camino.



NOTAS IMPORTANTES:
Todos los Programas citados precedentemente podrían sufrir alteraciones debido a factores
externos, específicamente por las condiciones climáticas.
Las maletas y/o el resto de equipaje podrán ser depositadas en el Albergue.
A fin de dar cumplimiento en forma integral con los Programas ofrecidos, se sugiere a los
Pasajeros, para su viaje a Iquitos, puedan tomar los vuelos a primera hora de la mañana y para
su retorno a Lima tomar los vuelos de muy por la Tarde o en todo caso por la Noche. En tal
sentido, se recomienda que los vuelos se encuentren acorde al Programa elegido.

RECOMMENDATIONS :
To ensure that the days of stay at the lodge becomes unforgettable , it is important that
passengers can bring (preferably in a backpack and / or small briefcase ) in Tours, some
essential items such as:
• Hats and Sun Lenses
• In case you want to bathe in the river take your bath linen and a towel.
• Insect repellent and Sunscreen.
• Camera Camcorder and / or Photo.
• Flashlight for Night Walking.
• Raincoats.
• Boots.
• Water bottles sufficient for the Road.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• All programs mentioned above could be altered due to external factors, specifically by
weather conditions.
• The luggage’s and / or the other items can be stored in the Hostel.
• To comply integrally with the programs offered, for the trip to Iquitos, it is suggested that the
Passenger can take flights early in the morning and take flights to Lima too Afternoon or at
least Night. In this regard, it is recommended that flights are chosen according to the program.
