No minimum or maximum number of players for tournaments, and no graduated pricing. Expert Pro Shop and Event Planning staff will assist throughout your planning process. Breakfast options also available for all tournament events, as well as any other entrees and selected menu options as required (gluten free, vegan and restricted diet meal options are available with 14 day advanced notice). Tournament Packages will be customized depending on your need and the nature of the event, with only a small non-­‐refundable deposit required at the time of booking. Automatic hold on the next years’ event bookings, ensuring your event consistency and greatly reducing planning anxiety. Shotgun starts, modified shotgun starts and regular tee time tournaments are all considered, depending on number of participants and general availability. Tournament Sponsorship We offer custom hole sponsorship packages for golf tournaments of any size. Our staff will set-­‐up all designated hole sponsorships with a BBQ and propane, chairs, tables, coolers and ice, waste receptacles, and the specified products of their choice. If you are unable to make it that day or would like to play in the golf tournament, one of our staff members can work the hole and represent your company for an additional cost. The Marsh provides a cozy and unique atmosphere for you and your guests. It features a mountain-­‐style lodge interior, with seating for 225, complete with a fieldstone fireplace; a stage complete with sound system; a private bar; large outdoor patio space; and large windows that allow for a view of the wilderness, completing its rustic country charm. Space is also available for your guests to bring out their RV’s and camp for the night. The Clubhouse The clubhouse contains a fully licensed restaurant and is the perfect stop before, during, and after a round at the Goose. Our clubhouse is great for smaller functions and can accommodate 45 guests comfortably. The Nest Located on the top floor of the clubhouse, the Nest is completely separate from the other function rooms. Complete with large windows, air conditioning, a fully stocked bar, and a large patio deck that over looks the island greens. A second protein may be added to the dinner package for an additional charge of $7.00/person. Additional proteins include roast baron of beef, roast chicken or turkey, BBQ baby back ribs, and salmon steaks. Perogies and/or cabbage rolls can be added to the meal for an additional cost of $3.00 per item chosen. Due to high demand for event requests at Goose Hummock Golf Resort, the following policies will be enforced. Contracts, deposits, payments, and cancellations of your event:  
All functions will be considered tentative until a signed contract and a $250.00, non-­‐refundable, event deposit, is received.  
At the time of booking, guest numbers must be within 25% of the actual number on the day of the tournament. For example, if you book a tournament for 100 guests, your numbers cannot drop below 75 . If there are less than 75 golfers, you will be charged for 75.  
Goose Hummock must be notified 14 days prior to the event to give your final guest numbers within 10%. For example, if you book a tournament for 100 guests, and you now have 90 guests confirmed 14 days prior to your event, your final number of guests can be as low as 80 or as high as 100 guests.  
Guaranteed final numbers must be received 7 days prior to the event. The customer will be charged for the guaranteed final number or the actual number served, whichever is greater.  
A team list and on-­‐course skill events must be received 3 days prior to your event.  
Goose Hummock reserves the right to choose a more suitable tournament format and /or event space should the number of guests and/or set-­‐up requirements change significantly from the original event manifest.  
Cancellations within 14 days of the event will be subject to the full charge of the tournament fees. All cancellations are required in writing.  
Tournaments play rain or shine unless Goose Hummock deems the course to be unplayable. In the event that the course has been deemed unplayable, the catering staff requires 60 minutes to prepare the tournament meal.  
Final payment for all events and functions must be received the day of the event unless previous arrangements have been made. Food and Beverage:  
Goose Hummock Golf Resort will be the sole supplier of ALL food and beverages on and off the course unless prior arrangements have been made with the event coordinator.  
Alberta Health Services and provincial health regulations prohibit the removal of any unconsumed food from the course.  
Any group wishing to sponsor a “Beer/Liquor Hole” must purchase their liquor requirements from Goose Hummock Golf Resort. All necessary arrangements must be made 10 business days prior to the event date.  
Any externally purchased alcohol will be confiscated and individuals who do not comply will risk termination of the tournament.  
As per the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, only one liquor hole is allowed per 9 holes plus one additional station.  
All liquor for sampling or serving must be served by a Goose Hummock staff member unless prior arrangements have been made. The cost for a Goose Hummock staff member to host your liquor hole is $16.00/hour for a minimum of 4 hours. Golf Course  
Goose Hummock Golf Resort is a “soft-­‐spike” facility.  
There is a maximum of 4 players per group and each golfer must have their own set of golf clubs on the golf course.  
A dress code is in effect. Restrictions include (but are not limited to) sweat pants, muscle shirts, tank tops, short shorts, and ripped or stained clothing.  
Please help keep the golf course in good condition: repair ball markers, replace divots, rake traps, and dispose of waste properly. Please keep pull carts, bags, and power carts away from the greens and comply with the “90 degree” rule.  
To ensure the success of the tournament, Goose Hummock requires that registration is completed 30 minutes prior to the start of your event and that all golfers are ready to go in their carts 15 minutes prior to your tee-­‐time. At Goose Hummock, pace of play is essential for enjoyment of the game. Shotgun starts should not exceed 5 hours. Please allow our professional staff to assist you in choosing a suitable format of play for your tournament. It is the responsibility of the tournament organizer to communicate pace of play and course rules to attendees.  
Goose Hummock reserves the right to add public play to the course with any tournament under 144 players.  
Goose Hummock Golf Resort has a fleet of 72 power carts on premise. Should your event require additional power carts, fleet pricing will apply.  
Goose Hummock is not responsible for damage to, or loss of any article left on the premises before, during, or after any function. Goose Hummock shall not be responsible for any loss or injury suffered or incurred by any guests, unless it is caused by the negligence or wrongful act of Goose Hummock and its employees.  
Any negligent damage or lost equipment will be charged to the tournament.
