We, the people of God of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic community, Empowered by the Holy Spirit, must manifest to the city of Kingston, New

21st annual Celebration of Life
The Ulster Vicariate Respect Life Committee will
hold its 21st annual Celebration of Life Mass and
Dinner on Friday, October 24, 2014. The Mass will
take place at St Joseph's Church, Kingston, NY at
5:30 pm and the dinner will take place at the
Hillside Manor at 6:30 pm. The cost for the buffet
dinner is $28.00 per person. This year's speaker, Dr
Paul Jankiewicz, is the Director of Human
Discovery Associates and an internationally
recognized educator. He will be speaking on the
topic of the human dimension of pro-life. For

All Souls Day Service
The Combined Choirs of St. Joseph’s Music
Ministry and St. Catherine Labouré present…
“Inspired
Songs
of
Healing,
Hope
and
Remembrance.” This service will be conducted at
St. Joseph’s Church, uptown Kingston on Sunday,
November 2nd at 2:30 pm. The combined 30
voices of St. Joseph’s Schola, St. Joseph’s Choir
and St. Catherine Labouré Choir will offer a
heartfelt selection of songs that speak to those who
have endured a loss. During the month of
November it is a tradition of our faith to honor and
remember those who have died.
This annual event at our Parish includes reflections
and readings, a list of the dead of our Parish in the
past year and a “Book of Remembrance” for
everyone to list the names of their beloved dead.
Under the direction of Jane Touhey and Bob Gaus,
an ensemble of instrumentalists will be featured.
Come for an hour of inspired song, a moment of
comfort, healing and the inspired hope. There is no
offering. Arrive early and bring a family member or
friend.
THE PEOPLE’S PLACE
Next weekend, the monthly collection of canned and
non-perishable goods will be taken up at all the Masses
for People’s Place. Please help us to assist others who
are in need. On behalf of People’s Place, we also wish to
thank you for your donation of groceries last month.
Through your generosity, we are able to help the less
fortunate and needy in our community.

the school will be given and
information packets available,

Faculty, staff, club moderators and coaches will be

school each 8th grade student is required to take
the TACHS exam, which will be held on Friday,
November 7, 2014. You must register for this exam
