Bridger Middle School 18200 East M-78 Highway Independence, MO. 64057 (816) 521-5375 Dear Parent/Guardian, Bridger Middle School will hold parent/teacher conferences on Tuesday, October 28th and Wednesday, October 29 th from 3:00 pm – 6:45 pm each day. These conferences include students as an important part of the conference process, so please be sure they attend! Our conference format will give your child the opportunity to accept responsibility and ownership for his/her learning. Over the next few weeks, our students will help prepare by gathering work samples from each class and assessing their progress this year. Also, students will write personal goals for the remainder of this semester. Conferences provide an excellent opportunity for students to share these goals and their performance for the past few months. During the conference, you will sit in a designated area with your child to examine his/her work and to discuss his/her progress. Your child’s Elective teachers will greet you, make sure you have all needed materials and help get the conference started. You will then move into the gym to begin your 30 minute conference where EACH of your child’s core subject teachers will be stopping by to add additional information or answer any questions you may have. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to ensure that your conference begins on time. You will also receive your child’s 1st quarter progress report during this conference. We would like 100% of our parents to participate. You play a vital role in your child’s education, and your child is excited about sharing this experience with you!
