ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Bharathidasan Institute of Technology, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli was established by the Govt. of Tamil
nadu as a technical institute at Tiruchirappalli known as “rock fort city” with rich cultural heritage and hub of reputed
educational institutions. The Institute has committed to provide an excellent and effective education with main focus
on developing professional capabilities of student along with holistic personalities, which emphasize on
interdisciplinary knowledge and ability for the life long learning.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Chemistry is established in 1999. The Department faculty are handling UG &PG classes. It
is well equipped with research laboratories and has dedicated staff members who are trained at renowned institute in
India and abroad. The faculty members attract substantial financial support for their research activities from both state
and central government funding agencies. The Department offers vibrant atmosphere to scholar to nurture the spirit of
scientific inquiry and to pursue cutting edge research in highly encouraging environment. The active field of research
includes coordination chemistry, photochemistry, catalysis, material chemistry, electrochemistry, nanotechnology and
remote sensing.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Chemical sciences hold the keys to provide new materials, and sustainable technologies to meet the ever
growing needs of the society in energy, food and health sectors. The objective of this conference is to bring together
students and researchers in academics, industries and research institutions for knowledge sharing and exchange of
