Additional Machine Information
The Vector series machine integrates an AC electric motor with vectored control for screw
rotation that delivers high performance and low energy consumption. The parallel axis
reduction gearbox decreases noise levels and also increases efficiency. Vector series
machines are capable of three phases of simultaneous machine functions i.e.: Screw rotation,
clamp opening and closing and ejection or cores while maintaining full control of each
movement.
Standard equipment includes Bosch hydraulics, KEB inverter screw drive system, variable
displacement smart pumps, digital proportional valves, digital magnetostrictive transducers, bimetallic barrel and ceramic heater bands. Vector series machinery makes use of CANbus
interface for simplifying and expanding the connectivity between the electronically controlled
peripheral devices, integrated robots and digital wireless communication. Vector series
machines unitize a low profile design for easy access to the molding area, as well as,
integration of robots and automation equipment. Additional machine options, special feed
screws and automation solutions are available on request.
