Homecoming win over Saint Anselm on Saturday. He
completed 31-of-51 passes for 346 yards and four
touchdowns, and also rushed for a team-high 77 yards
and three TD’s. It’s the second time this fall he’s been
recognized with this honor.
Northeast-10 Conference defensive Player of the Week
Anthony Brunetti, LIU Post (LB, R-Sr., Bayville, N.Y.) Brunetti registered a game-high 13 tackles in a 49-21
win over Saint Anselm on Saturday. He also had a key
forced fumble, he recovered a fumble, and broke up a
pass as well in the Pioneers’ win.

Jet Kollie, Bentley (Sr., WR, Lowell, Mass.) - Kollie
amassed 229 all-purpose yards in a 38-7 win at So.
Connecticut with his 142 punt return yards (on five returns) the most by a Division II player this season. He
had a 40-yard return and a 74-yarder, both of which
set up Falcon touchdowns. In addition, he returned
two kickoffs for 37 yards and caught a 50-yard pass.
Northeast-10 Conference rookie of the Week
Peter Catal, Stonehill (Jr., LB, Cornwall, N.Y.) - Catal led
the Skyhawks defense in a 33-0 victory at Pace with six
tackles (three solo), an interception and pass breakup.
Catal’s interception came at the goal line to keep the
game scoreless in the first quarter.

Northeast-10 Conference Honor Roll - week Seven
Kevin Arduino, American International (Sr., QB, Cornwall, N.Y.) - Arduino completed 20-of-28 passes for 208 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s loss to New Haven.
Evan Graham, American International (Sr., WR, Springfield, Mass.) - Graham caught nine passes
for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s loss to New Haven, 31-24.
Andrew Justice, American International (Sr., DL, Brooklyn, N.Y.) - Justice made seven tackles, four
of them solo efforts and assisted a tackle for a loss of two yards. He also intercepted his first pass
of the season in a loss to New Haven Saturday.
De’Ontray Johnson, Assumption (Sr., RB, San Diego, Calif.) - Against Merrimack, Johnson posted
three touchdowns to help lead the Hounds to the 41-13 victory. He scored from 12 yards out and
15 yards, along with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to begin the second half.
Bakari Blunt, Assumption (Jr., DB, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) - Blunt posted his first career pick six as he
returned an interception 52 yards for a touchdown in a road win at Merrimack. He picked up nine
total tackles, including five solo stops, to go along with a game-high three pass breakups.
Nick Valenti, Assumption (So., LB, Troy, N.Y.) - In a 41-13 road win at Merrimack, Valenti led the
Hounds with a 13-tackle effort that included a game-high seven solo stops.

So. Connecticut as he completed 23 of 39 passes for 342 yards and four touchdowns.
Jeff Hill, Bentley (Sr., WR, Mansfield, Mass.) - Hill, who has caught at a TD pass in five straight
games, had seven receptions for 141 yards and two TDs in a 38-7 win at So. Connecticut.
Paul Norris, Bentley (Jr., DL, North Attleboro, Mass.) - Norris led a strong defensive effort in a 38-7
win at So. Connecticut with his three sacks (-24 yards), and totaled eight tackles for the game.
Jhaleel Oswald, LIU Post (DB, Jr., Rosedale, N.Y.) - Oswald recorded seven tackles, an interception,
and three pass break-ups in a 49-21 win over Saint Anselm on Saturday.
Adriell Mayes, Merrimack (Jr., RB, Chesapeake, Va.) - Mayes turned in a season- and career-best
170-yard performance on 23 carries, averaging 6.8 yards a carry.
Herbens Antenor, New Haven (Sr., S, Malden, Mass.) - Antenor led the Chargers defense in a 31-24
victory at American Int’l on Saturday afternoon as he had four total tackles, including three solo
stops, the forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and a pass breakup.
Joey Bradley, New Haven (Sr., QB, Issaquah, Wash.) - Bradley led the Chargers to a 31-24 victory
at American Int’l, as he orchestrated a pair of touchdown drives late in the fourth quarter which
proved to be the difference. He finished with 257 yards and a pair of tds on 23-of-32 passing.

Trevor Officer, New Haven (Sr., RB, Monroe, N.Y.) - Officer had a career day on Saturday as he anchored the Chargers rushing attack in a 31-24 victory at American Int’l. The Monroe, N.Y. native ran
for 136 yards on 24 carries, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
Elad Covaliu, Saint Anselm (Jr., RB, Rockville, Md.) - Covaliu hit the century mark rushing for the
second time this season in the Hawks’ loss at LIU Post on Saturday. He came up one yard short of
his career high as he carried 17 times for 103 yards and a touchdown.
Ahkeen Williams, Saint Anselm (Sr., WR, DeWitt, N.Y.) - Williams made six catches for 106 yards
and a touchdown in the Hawks’ 49-21 loss at LIU Post on Saturday.
Peter Catal, Stonehill (Jr., LB, Cornwall, N.Y.) - Catal led the Skyhawks defense in a 33-0 victory at
Pace with six tackles (three solo), an interception and pass breakup.
Nate Robitaille, Stonehill (Sr., WR, Attleboro, Mass.) - Robitaille posted a game-high 169 all-purpose yards in Saturday’s 33-0 win at Pace as he caught a season-high ten passes for a season-best
144 yards and a touchdown, while adding a 21 yard kickoff return and four rushes for four yards.
Tom Sydeski, Stonehill (So., QB, Brockport, N.Y.) - Sydeski completed 23-of-41 passes for a seasonbest 290 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 33-0 win at Pace.

AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL: The Yellow Jackets lost their first NE-10 contest of the season at home to New
Haven, 31-24. Fumbles on their final two drives proved costly as the Chargers capitalized in a come-frombehind victory. American Int’l led by as many as 11 in the second half, but the Jackets only possessed the
ball for just 23:40 and had trouble getting New Haven - 214 rushing yards - off the field. Senior quarterback
Kevin Arduino (Cornwall, N.Y.) completed 20-of-28 passes for 208 yards. His favorite targer, senior wide out
Evan Graham (Springfield, Mass.) made nine catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Classmate receiver
Stephan Davis (Selden, N.Y.) caught an Arduino TD pass, too. Both have 30 receptions and five scores apiece.
Senior place kicker Jared Hulsey (Springfield, Mass.) has now converted nine straight point after attempts and
is 6-of-6 in field goals over the last four games, adding a 26-yard boot against New Haven. The American Int’l
secondary picked off two Joey Bradley passes. Senior Carron McCluney (Hillside, N.J.) and Andrew Justice
(Brooklyn, N.Y.) each had picks.
ASSUMPTION: Assumption improved to 4-3 overall and 4-2 in Northeast-10 play with a 41-13 road win at Merrimack on Saturday afternoon. The win lifts the Hounds into a three-way tie for third place with Saint Anselm
and New Haven, one game out of a two-way tie for first. The win improves Assumption to 8-0 on the road
in Northeast-10 regular-season play under second-year head coach Bob Chesney. Senior De’Ontray Johnson
(San Diego, Calif.) led the team with three overall touchdowns, including two rushing scores and a 95-yard
kickoff return of the second-half kickoff for a touchdown. This is the 11th kickoff return for TD in Assumption
history, tying the all-time longest in program history. Junior Bakari Blunt (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) picked up his
first career pick six as he returned an interception 52 yards for a second-half touchdown while also adding
three pass breakups. Senior Derrick Mann (Sharon, Mass.) picked up a career-high four sacks in the game, the
second-highest single-game total in Assumption history and most by a Hound in a game in 14 years. Overall,
sophomore linebacker Nick Valenti (Troy, N.Y.) led the team with a 13-tackle effort, his second double-digit
tackle game in the last three contests. As a team, Assumption picked up 10 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, six
pass breakups and six quarterback hurries. Assumption hosts Saint Anselm in its next game on Friday, October
24th at the Multi-Sport Stadium. The game is the 16th all-time meeting between the two teams, with Assumption holding a 10-5 advantage in the series behind nine straight victories dating back to the 2004 season.
BENTLEY: Grad student Danny Guadagnoli (Framingham, Mass.) threw four touchdown passes, including two
to favorite target Jeff Hill (Mansfield, Mass.) as Bentley spoiled So. Connecticut’s Homecoming, 38-7, to end
a string of difficult losses. Guadagnoli, who had 257 yards and three TDs by halftime, moved from fourth to
second on Bentley’s all-time list for total offense, finishing the game with 8,401. Hill also made his move on
Bentley’s career lists, becoming the third to amass 3,000 receiving yards, the fifth to reach 3,000 all-purpose
running yards and the sixth with 200 career points. Senior Jet Kollie (Lowell, Mass.) had the top punt return
day in Division II thus far this season, gaining 142 on five returns, including a 40-yarder and a 74-yarder, both
of which set up Falcon TDs. He finished the day with 229 all-purpose yards. Bentley totaled nine sacks against
the Owls, including three by sophomore DE Paul Norris (North Attleboro, Mass.). The last time the Falcons had
at least nine tackles was the 2002 season-opener against Saint Anselm when they had ten, a game in which Bill
Kavanaugh, now Bentley’s first-year head coach, had 3.5. In this week’s NCAA Division II statistics, Guadagnoli
is 12th in passing TDs (12), 13th in passing yards per game (304.9) and 16th in completions per game (23.1).
Hill is 13th in receiving TDs (8) and 22nd in receiving yards per game (99.1), and junior Tyler Ford (Amherst,
N.H.) is 26th in punting (40.9). In the team statistics, Bentley is fifth in fewest penalties (4.0), eighth in fewest
penalty yards (38.4), 12th in interceptions (12), 18th in passing offense (304.9), 25th in third down conversions
(.464), 28th in fewest turnovers (10) and 29th in time of possession (31:54). Bentley will play its final home
game of the regular season on Saturday, hosting Pace on Senior Day.
LIU POST: On Saturday, LIU Post dominated from start to finish, rolling past Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Anselm, 49-21, at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y. The story of the game
was redshirt senior quarterback Steven Laurino, who completed 31-of-51 passes for 346 yards and four touchdowns. He also scampered for 77 net yards and three scores. Junior tight end Sean Binckes caught eight balls
for 91 yards and a pair of TD’s. Redshirt senior wideout Kamron Palmer added seven catches for 68 yards and
a score, while redshirt sophomore wide receiver Shane Hubbard made six catches for 76 yards. Defensively,
redshirt senior linebacker Anthony Brunetti led all players with 13 tackles. He added a strip, a fumble recovery
and a pass break-up as well. Senior defensive back Roger Hamilton amassed 11 tackles, one forced fumble
and a pass break-up. Redshirt junior linebacker Brandon Cheney collected nine tackles and one quarterback
hurry. Junior defensive back Jhaleel Oswald had seven tackles, three pass break-ups and an interception. The
Pioneers are back in action Saturday (Oct. 25), when they host American Int’l in a battle of NE-10 first-place
teams at Bethpage Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

MERRIMACK: After erasing an early 10-point deficit with two quick scores in the second quarter to take the
lead, Merrimack was outscored by 31 the rest of the way, as visiting Assumption handed the Warriors a 41-13
setback in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Martone-Mejail Field. Merrimack now
sits tied for sixth with Stonehill in the league standings with three games to play. The Warriors round out the
road portion of their regular season with a trip to perennial league power New Haven next Saturday (Oct. 25)
at 1 p.m.
NEW HAVEN: With a thrilling 31-24 come-from-behind win at American Int’l on Saturday, New Haven won
its fourth consecutive game and improved to 4-2 in NE-10 play, 4-3 overall. The Chargers, trailing 24-17 with
under five minutes left in the fourth quarter, scored a pair of touchdowns in the final two minutes to keep
their hopes alive in the NE-10 Championship race. Quarterback Joey Bradley (Issaquah, Wash.) led the New
Haven offense with 257 yards and two touchdowns on 23-of-32 passing. Trevor Officer (Monroe, N.Y.) added
a career-high 136 yards on 24 carries, while Andre Anderson (New Haven, Conn.) added 59 yards and a pair
of touchdowns on 13 carries. Ty Headen (Newark, N.J.) led all New Haven receivers with five catches for
38 yards and a touchdown. Henry Adegunle (Rockaway, N.Y.) chipped in with two grabs for 74 yards and
the game-winning touchdown of 40-yards late in the fourth quarter. Defensively, Herbens Antenor (Malden,
Mass.) led the team with a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, a pass breakup and four total tackles. Matt
Zakrzewski (Traverse City, Mich.) recorded a team-high 10 tackles including eight solo stops. This week, New
Haven returns to action when it hosts Merrimack in another NE-10 matchup at Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium
on Saturday, Oct. 25. The game will be homecoming in West Haven and kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
PACE: Pace fell to Stonehill 33-0 in NE-10 action on Saturday afternoon. Junior receiver Kyle Johnson (Elmont,
N.Y.) finished with six receptions for 57 yards, while senior receiver Corey Reeder (Browns Mills, N.J.) totaled
five catches for 35 yards. Senior running back Ransford Quarrie (Hamilton, N.J.) led the Pace ground attack
with 53 yards on 12 carries. On defense, junior defensive back Jamir Gee (Paterson, N.J.) led the way with 10
tackles, 2.5 for losses and an interception. Junior defensive lineman Tyler Owens (Salem, N.J.) recorded nine
tackles and blocked a pair of extra points to take over the conference lead in blocked kicks. Owens is also tied
for the national lead in blocked kicks. The Setters head to Bentley this Saturday afternoon.
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT: So. Connecticut lost to Bentley by a final of 38-7 in the annual Homecoming contest on Saturday. The Owls are now 1-6 and 1-5 in Northeast-10 Conference play. Running back Julian Hayes
(Middletown, Conn.) had a game-high 70 yards on the ground on 14 carries, while Donald Thomas (Bronx,
N.Y.) added 57 yards on seven carries. Quarterback Raymond Catapano (Franklin Square, N.Y.) completed 8-of16 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Gary Williams (West Haven, Conn.) had four receptions for 39 yards.
Brian Wilcox (Jericho, Vt.) recorded seven tackles to lead the defense. So. Connecticut returns to action next
Saturday for a road game at Stonehill.
STONEHILL: The Skyhawks bounced back from back to back defeats with a 33-0 victory at Pace on Saturday.
Stonehill posted its first shutout since a 13-0 victory over So. Connecticut on September 8, 2012, posting a
season-high four interceptions after entering the game with six interceptions over the first six games of the
season. Sophomore quarterback Tom Sydeski (Brockport, N.Y.) completed 23-of-41 passes for a season-best
290 yards and two touchdowns. Junior Deontae Ramey-Doe (Dorchester, Mass.) rushed the ball 20 times
for a career-high 77 yards and two scores for his first career multi-touchdown game. Senior Nate Robitaille
(Attleboro, Mass.) caught a season-high ten passes for a season-best 144 yards and a touchdown, moving past
Dan Cahill, ‘96 into second place on the program’s career yardage list with 2,293 yards; trailing only former
teammate John Gomes’, ‘13 record of 2,442 career receiving yards. Robitaille’s 166 career receptions are just
seven shy of Gomes’ career mark of 173 catches. He also moved into seventh all-time at Stonehill for career
all-purpose yards with 2,978 yards and he extended his program record for career touchdown catches with
his 24th today. Sydeski connected with Robitaille for a 73-yard touchdown pass with 43-seconds remaining
in the second quarter, marking Stonehill’s first passing play of 70-yards or more since David Pringle caught a
Cruz Parsons pass for a 70-yard touchdown against Bentley on September 26, 2008. Stonehill returns home on
Saturday to host So. Connecticut on Hall of Fame Weekend at the College at 1 p.m.
