Instructed by your coaches you will work on the interpretation
of your role in the context of stage, choir and orchestra. Besides
the singing studies the focus will be laid on the development of
your role playing (scenic) abilities.

Premiere and 8 performances
The premiere on 23. July 2015 will be followed by 8 performances
in the inner courtyard of the Renaissance castle in front of the
audience of 1.000 seats.
23. July to 2. August 2015 – Courtyard Weikersheim Castle.
Participation fee
For audition workshops only: 85,– Euro (incl. accomodation
and meals). All other rehearsal sessions in 2015 will be without
further fees, meaning that accomodation, meals and travel expenses are being payed by Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland.

The master classes will be inspired throughout several weeks
by the vision of Jeunesses Musicales: Highest artistic authenticity, love for quality without compromise and a team-spirit of
mutual friendship.
Application is open to young singers (m/f), at the threshold
of a professional career on the opera stage or preparing for it.
Applicants should have some ﬁrst stage experiences.
Bruno Weil • Music Director
As a guest conductor to many renowned international orchestras and opera houses and through numerous CD recordings
Bruno Weil has gained the reputation of one world-leading expert of the Vienna Classique style. As conductor of the year he
was awarded with the „Echo Klassik“ 1997, after that for many
more of his recordings, lately for the London Symphonies by
J. Haydn. Bruno Weil is a professor at the University for Music
and Theatre in Munich.
Dominik Wilgenbus • Stage Director
After his studies with August Everding in Munich Dominik Wilgenbus works as a freelance director. His opera activities led
him to the Munich Gärtnerplatz Theater, the Vienna Volksoper
and many opera houses like Dortmund, Augsburg, Klagenfurt,
Leipzig or Chemnitz. Back in 2007 he had a huge success with
his production of Rossini’s „La Cenerentola“ and 2013 with
Mozarts’ „Don Giovanni“ with the Young Opera Schloss Weikersheim.

Auditions with integrated workshop
You are to prepare one aria from “Le nozze di Figaro” or another comparable Mozart aria as well and one aria of your own
choice. Thanks to our coachings you will activate your range of
body expression potentials and your stage presence.

Final audition
Our jury led by the music director and the artistic director of
the production will take the ﬁnal decisions on the cast(s). All
participants will receive an individual feed-back after their audition.

Easter session 2015
You will study your role along with piano accompaniment under instruction by our singing coaches. The stage director will
explain his production concept. Led by the choreograph you
will train basics for your scenic action.
