Establishing a Kynect OnLine Gateway Account (allowing self service updates/changes to kynect accounts)
STEP 1: If you do not have an email, Create An Email Account & Password (If you have an Email Account, skip to Step 6).

STEP 2: Fill out the online form. An easy user name to remember is your name plus your date of birth.
Example: susansmith010180. Your password must be at least 8 characters long.
You do not need to provide your mobile phone number or your current email address.
Step 3: Click “Next Step”.
Step 4: You do not have to add a profile photo. Click “Next Step”.

Step 9: Complete your Kentucky Online Gateway (KOG) profile:

Step 10: Wait for Email to Verify.


Your Account has been requested and is
pending email verification.

Step 11: Email Verification. Click on link to Activate your Account.

Step 12: Validate your KOG Account.
Identity Verification:
Enter the answers to the security questions that
you created on the first page.
Step 13: Successful Validation. Proceed further.

Step 14: Sign In as Kentucky Citizen.
Step 15: Login using your Username and Password.
Enter your KOG Username
and Password.

Click the Log In button.
Step 16: User Verification.
Enter Verification information. This is your
PERSONAL information, not business
information. Fill out all information even if it
says it is not required.
Click the box in the bottom left corner to
Accept the terms.
Check the box to agree to
the verification terms.
Enter the “secret” code that is displayed on
YOUR screen and hit Submit.

Step 17: Successful Verification.
After you have been successfully verified, you can access the kynect application.
