Teams and Practices
●
●
●
You will have about 6 teams of students in your event
● Each team = 2 students (3 for Exp. Design/Protein
Modeling)
Practices are once per week
● Some building events may meet less or more.
● We gave you kids who said they were available at your
assigned time, but you may make other arrangements if
desired.
Google drive highly recommended (easy access if someone's
absent, helps us pass info down for later years)
Alternate Team
●
●
If you have fewer than 12 students, we may
allow alternates to attend your practices
If you have 12 or more students, we will ask
you if a student expresses interest in
attending your practices
Differences Between Div. B and C
●
●
●
Students are more self-motivated
Some students have a lot of expertise in some
events
● You can use students as resources or even have
them teach some of the lessons
Wide range of experience in the event
● some have taken more science classes at school
● some may have participated in the event
before
● Upperclassmen have a distinct advantage
(more so than 8th graders over 7th graders)
