Welcome back to Term 2. This term homework will look a bit different. There will still be the spelling list to practise and maths to complete with additional tasks to do over two weeks. These tasks are optional and homework is now due every second week. Optional activities will vary each fortnight. First homework this term is due in Week 2 on Friday May 1st. COMPULSORY TASKS Reading Math Spelling Look, cover, write, check Rainbow words Computer words – write your words in different fonts Powerpoint words. Animate your words Check spelling activity sheet that is on class weebly. Write out the 4 and 6 tables and related division facts Eg: 6 x 1 =6 6÷6=1 For other times table activities check class weebly. Play a board game Keep a record of games played and who you played with. Media watch Discuss with parents or grandparents if they know of any family member who served in WWI or WWII. Type up a one page Word document regarding their involvement. If there is no one in your family, research ANZAC day and explain what the letters stand for and in which war did it begin.
