Comments from the Treasurer and Finance Committee
The first nine months of 2014 show a mixed picture. - see chart below. Budget
Givings are substantially below budget but are largely compensated by higher
Non-Budget Givings and lower Expenses. The Building Fund is getting less
contributions than necessary to cover the monthly mortgage payment of
$2900. This means we are using up the reserve in the building fund. On a more
positive note, remember that our mortgage will be paid off by April 20, 2015 something to look forward to and suitably celebrate when the time comes!
