Dance Team Auditions: Attention Alpha students who are auditioning for Dance team on Wednesday, October
22 – please note that auditions will start earlier due to early dismissal that day. Auditions on Wednesday will
start at 12:40 and run until 1:40. Please check in for your audition at 12:40.

Alpha Dance presents “Thriller” – Thursday, October 30 in the Drama Studio: Doors open at 6:00pm with
performances starting at 6:30. There will be prizes for best costume as well as popcorn, candy and lots of
Halloween entertainment. Tickets sold in upper foyer at lunch October 27-October 30 – seating is limited.

Grad Sweats Logo: The Grad sweats logo contest has begun. The logo must have the Grad year 2015, and a
variation of the Alpha logo. Submissions can be hand drawn or computer generated. The winner receives a free

Volleyball Intramurals:
Hey kids, noon-hour organized activities are currently being planned by your sports council.
Our first activity will be Co-ed Volleyball. Go to the Athletic Board to pick up your sign-up sheets and hand in
your forms along with your team performance bond to Mr. Chandi @ the PE office by Friday Oct. 31st.
All students from grades 8-12 are welcome to join. It's all about having fun and being physically active!
Interested in joining? But don't have a team, come see Mr. Chandi @ the PE office and you will be placed on a
team.

Open Gym: We will be continuing with open gym this week. Equipment may be borrowed using your Go card as
collateral. Note that the only play permitted will be basketball and one soccer game. There will no longer be any
soccer permitted in the bleacher area. Any other requests will be granted only at the discretion of the gym
supervisor.
