Divisions: The Markham SC reserves the right to modify divisions and schedules dependent upon number of
registrants for any divisions. Where a division is significantly modified, the registrant will be eligible for a full refund if they
do not wish to participate in the revised division.
We do not accept special requests for team placements for divisions of U16 and younger.
PLAYERS WHO REGISTER AND PAY ONLINE at www.markhamsoccer.org NO LATER THAN
SEPTEMBER 30, 2014 WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAW FOR A MULTITUDE OF PRIZES,
INCLUDING TORONTO FC TICKETS.
Volunteers needed for indoor house league coaching positions
One special request only will be granted to volunteer coaches for the indoor season.
Eligibility: The mixed house league is open to all players, male and female, born between the ages listed in charts above.
Players will be included in the provisional age divisions as shown in the chart on the right: Players will be added to the
appropriate age division on a first come, first served basis. Any person registering after the age division is full will be placed
on a waiting list. Space is limited in all divisions so it is recommended that your register early.

Please remember to complete the registration form including signature of parent or guardian. All registrations must be
accompanied by the registration fee. Players new to the club may be required to show proof of age before the registration
process can be completed. Payment methods include personal cheque or money order if dropping off after business hours; if
paying in person or online, we also accept debit and credit cards.

Refund Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing by the club office prior to October 5 , 2014. No refunds will be
granted for any reason after that date. .
Team Photos: All players will receive a team photo. Team photo schedules will be posted when finalized.

This is a non-competitive division with the programming led by our certified “Active Start”
professional instructors. Players will be placed in groups of 10 players based on gender
All participants in this division will receive participant awards at the conclusion of the season
Play based skills training and fun games are the focus on this introduction to soccer program.
There are no formal games.
This is a non-competitive division and teams will be created on a random basis with a
concerted effort to assign equal (where numbers permit) numbers of players of mixed skill and
age.
All participants in this division will receive participant medals at the conclusion of the season.
Teams play 5 v 5 including the goalkeeper.
The season consists of 4 weeks of technical skills training and 14 weeks of games (subject to
minor modification).
Players registering for U10 will be placed in training/evaluation groups after registering. The
U10 division ONLY will consist of 4 weeks of technical skills training and 14 weeks of games
(subject to minor modification), after which players will be assigned to teams and uniforms
distributed.
All other divisions (except for U18 Co-ed) will run for two weeks of balancing, then 16 weeks of
games including playoffs and exhibition games.
No scores or standings for divisions of U10 and younger. All players in these divisions receive
an award at the conclusion of the season.
U18 CO-ED ONLY - Teams or groups of players can request to play together.
The program commences in October and runs until March.
Playoffs for U13 divisions and older will start after the regular season The winners of each
regular season age division and the two playoff finalists in each age division will receive
awards.
Play is governed by MSC’s Rules, Policies and Procedures:
o Maximum 7 players per side in all games, including the goal keeper for all divisions.
o Equal playing time for all players
