NUVHS has an extensive number of UC a-g approved courses as well as CLRN-Certified® courses. Courses at NUVHS have also received approval by both the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). All Advanced Placement (AP®) courses are approved by the College Board. Curriculum: NUVHS curriculum was developed by highly qualified teachers and experts in their fields. It adheres to Common Core, CA and National State Standards, as appropriate. All NUVHS teachers are considered highly-qualified under federal legislation and are experts in online course delivery. Many hold advanced degrees and are often full-time instructors at other accredited high schools across the United States. Graduation: NUVHS graduates must complete 230 credits across all subject areas in order to meet minimum requirements. However, students seeking to apply to four-year universities will be strongly encouraged to pursue additional credits, academic electives, and Advanced Placement (AP®) options.
