Planning progression to allow course completion within 2 trimesters – all Core subjects should be studied in
the order shown below.
Electives: Students must choose 2 Electives from those offered in their second trimester.
Articulation to a Master of Accounting (MAcc) or a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA)

If considering articulation to a Master of Professional Accounting or a Master of Accounting, electives must be
chosen as follows to maximise Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and progression:
 Master of Accounting – to gain a maximum of four (4) RPL, electives chosen should be:

and one of
o ACC704 Companies and Securities Law OR BUS701 Research Methods – Qualitative
and Quantitative.
 Master of Professional Accounting – to gain a maximum of eight (8) RPL, two of the following electives
should be chosen:

o BUS701 Research Methods – Qualitative and Quantitative.
