How Has BCPM Helped You
?
Adam & Cindy
We were driving over an hour
to go to church for several
months and we were not able to
get involved like we wanted. We
prayed and counseled with our pastor
who told us to start visiting local churches where
we lived. My brother invited me to a new church
in the area that was very close. We prayed and the
Lord lead us to attend the new church regularly. We
are thankful we can go and serve in a local church.

BCPM did a wonderful job of helping us stay organized and on track as we prepared for our first service.

I was overwhelmed, when God burdened my heart
to plant a church in Starkville, MS. If you have the
burden to plant a church, I highly recommend BCPM!
They are first class! I am so thankful that they were
able to assist and remove the overwhelming feeling.

One week we prayed every
day about a new church and
decided to wait on the Lord
and watch different church
programs on the internet.
Then, one Saturday, my wife found a John and
Romans booklet on our door advertising a new
church. We decided to go and after attending
the first time we knew in our heart that this was
the church that God wanted for us. We cannot
put in words the power of God we have felt
and the blessings we have had since attending.

The thought of starting a
church seemed daunting. I
approached my pastor letting
him know of my concerns. After
speaking to several other church
planters we were informed of BCPM. Once we
contacted BCPM they were able to put the tools
in our hands and give us a road map to getting the
church off to a good start. On February 16, 2014 we
launched Shining Light Baptist Church of Starkville,
MS. We look forward to the day when our church
will be able to plant a church of its own. (Haggai 1:8)

I was saved years ago in
the
Northwest
Territories,
and blessed with a wonderful
Christian man and beautiful
daughters. However, after a
lengthy struggle with brain cancer
God called him home and I began to drift spiritually.
In addition, economic hardship compelled me to
move so I came to Cold Lake.Since my move God
has blessed me with a pastor and church who loves me
and my family. I have seen God work in my children
and I, as well as the church as a whole. Throughout
my spiritual struggles God has used my pastor in a
powerful way, and the church has surrounded me
with love and compassion. I am thankful for a strong
church that believes and lives the Bible in my area. To
God be the Glory!

What kinds of results are you seeing?
In the past twenty-one years, the Seed Bank has
helped us work with 147 new church planting
projects. Each year, well over $2,000,000 is
given to missions through these churches. This
means that for every one dollar given to the
Seed Bank, approximately eight dollars goes to
world-wide missions through these newly planted
churches. What a great investment!

How many projects are planned for
2015?
We are working on seven projects already for
2015 and more are in the preparation stages.
Through the Seed Bank, BCPM/BCPMCanada
is able to help local Baptist Churches reproduce
new churches all around the world.
Every year in our “Reaping the Harvest” brochure, we have testimonies of pastors who have
been helped in the reproducing of their church. This year, we decided to put a more personal note
in the brochure. You will find testimonies from individuals in churches we have helped through the
Seed Bank. These are the souls of those who have been reached because of those who gave to
the RTH in past years. These are the “fruit that abounds to your account.” These are the believers
who might never have been reached if a church had not been planted in their community that could
reach them. Please read these testimonies and let them speak to your heart.
All across the United States there are thousands of men, women and children longing for
someone to give them the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Every year church planters go to
communities to reach these people. Some “pioneer” the work with little help and after a few years
leave the field discouraged. Others have the financial and “people” help they need to reach the
community by placing John/Romans on each door. This gives them the opportunity to meet the
people who are longing for someone to give them the truth. This is the reason for the Reaping the
Harvest offering. We want to give church planters all the tools they need to get off to a good start
without it costing them anything.
I remember years ago as we were starting the Metro Baptist Church in Vancouver, BC, a young
man came to the meeting carrying a John/Romans in his hand. It was his invitation to the services
and as I talked with him, it was the only portion of the Bible he had ever had. He was reached
because of the 80,000 John/Romans distributed to help start Metro. I do not know if he ever
received Christ as his Saviour, but I do know he was reached with the Gospel.
Will you help us this year? Will you pray and ask the Lord what you can do to reach those who
are waiting for someone to come to their town with the gospel? We cannot give to save ourselves,
but we certainly can give so others can be saved. It will be “fruit that may abound to your
account,” Philippians 4:17. Someone truthfully said, “You can’t take your money with you but you
can send it ahead.” Will you help us reach individuals like those sharing their testimonies by
helping church planters plant these new churches?

How much is needed for each project?
The amount needed varies with each project. In
some cases, a prophet’s chamber is available, but
other times we must stay in a hotel. Meals are
sometimes provided, as well. The travel expense
is determined by where the new church is being
planted. The average expense for each project is
approximately $3,000.00.
Mark 8:36-37 says, “For what shall it a profit man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose
his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” For those of us who know
our Bibles, the answer is an obvious, “Nothing!” We cannot give one penny to save ourselves.
However, we can give for the souls of other men, women and children!

Why is the Seed Bank needed?
The Seed Bank is needed because the General
Funds of BCPM/BCPMCanada cannot handle
these extra expenses. The General Fund takes
care of the administrative expenses for the
ministry and the salaries, but is not large enough
to cover the extra expenses incurred when
planting a church.
Dear Friend of BCPM,
City
What is the Seed Bank?
The Seed Bank is a fund that is used to help with
the expenses of reproducing a new church. We
do not charge churches to help them with church
planting projects. We also cover all our expenses
while there.
