Core aim of the MBA World Summit is to tap on the talents, interests, expertise and passion of the student finalists.
They will have the power to co-create the Summit’s agenda by conducting “lectures”, “workshops”, “talkshops” or
“think tank” sessions, and to come up with creative formats that would enable no-holds-barred discussions, inspiring exchanges, valuable insights and a time of healthy self-reflection.
A Creative “Laboratory” for Collaborative
Exchange
The summit is positioned to be a laboratory to discuss the future of business and society, a platform to nurture a
collaborative culture amongst this entire group of upcoming future business leaders and an unparalleled event creatively designed to facilitate a variety of meaningful exchanges in the vibrant and fascinating European metropolis of
Barcelona.
The topics and insights discussed within this “laboratory” are focused on encouraging contrarian perspectives and
providing an original perspective to address and tackle crucial global challenges.
A Chance for Inspirational Sparring with
Top-Executives

forum as partner companies and to offer exceptional career opportunities to Summit participants. Therefore attendees have the option for exclusive face-to-face time with top-executives, reflecting on participant’s career
strategies and identifying potential areas for future growth and providing new perspectives for future consideration.
A Global Leadership Community

of the inaugural MBA World Summit, alumni will be invited to every upcoming Summit and therefore having at least

Program Formats
Summit Laboratory Sessions (SLS)
MBA students conduct experimental ‘lab sessions’ – lectures, workshops,
‘talk-shops’ or ‘think-tanks’ designed to inspire and incite intense discussion and best-practice-sharing. All selected “Speakers” are given full
control over the creative direction of their proposed topics.
Corporate Laboratory Session (CLS)
Companies conduct a mini-consulting session designed to familiarize students with the challenges faced by the partner company and to provide
companies with fresh perspective and ideas on complex, interdisciplinary
problems. Companies will provide a specific business problem to this elite
group of MBA students to discuss, and resolve.
Company Presentation (CP)
A dedicated timeslot allotted to partner companies to present their career
opportunities and business model. Partner companies benefit by building
positive employer brand value by word-of-mouth propagation through the
personal networks of these top MBA students.
Face-to-face Interviews (optional)
45 minutes of exclusive face-to-face time with executives from partner
companies discussing participants’ career strategies, identifying potential
areas for future growth and providing new perspectives for future consideration. We carefully match participants with these ‘sparring partners’, by
considering their respective expertise and professional experiences.
Open Terrace “Sunset” Cocktails & “Tim-Eisenmann-Award”
A relaxed time to unwind after the day’s events, engage in informal
discussions and present the “Tim Eisenmann Award” to the most popular
student-led workshop. This award is named after 2014’s inaugural winner.
Networking Dinner
A comfortable setting to engage in private and in-depth discussions over
an enjoyable dinner.
Corporate Expedition
A partner company may invite a pre-selected group of up to 10 MBA students on a tour to their local office to showcase their company culture and
leave a positive and indelible impression of the employer brand in candidates’ minds.
Cultural Expedition
This is an exciting adventure to Barcelona’s cultural hotspots and heritage sites. It is a special opportunity to build meaningful relationships in a
comfortable, informal and inspirational setting.
Resolution, Dinner and Party
A thrilling evening spent at one of Europe’s best nightspots. Summit participants connect with each other for one last time in a relaxed setting as
they recount the experiences of the last three days and resolve to remain
in close contact.
