CALL FOR ENTRIES
Ridge Art Association invites anyone over the age of 18
to submit entries for
100 Years of Agriculture inside Lake Alfred City Hall
The juror will select work to be exhibited; judge’s
decisions will be final. Awards totaling $1,,600 will be
given at the discretion of the judge and presented at the
reception on Friday, November 7th.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
Each artist may submit up to three pieces for judging. A
non-refundable fee of $35.00 for non-members and
$25.00 for members for One, Two or Three pieces will
be charged. All entries must be accompanied by the
Entry Fee, Entry Form, Notification Card and a selfaddressed stamped envelope. ( $.50 will be charged if no
SASE)
Make checks payable to Ridge Art Association, Inc.
Entries shipped must arrive by October 29th and must
include a prepaid non dated return label from the shipper
of your choice.
Neither the Ridge Art Association nor the City of Lake
Alfred will be liable for work in transit or on exhibit in
Lake Alfred City Hall.
SPECIFICATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
Only original drawings, oils, watercolors, acrylics,
graphics, photography, mixed media, fiber, and
sculpture completed within the last three years may
be submitted. All work must be properly prepared for
display. Pieces to be hung must be wired for hanging.
Not acceptable work includes: crafts, jewelry, copies
of published work, pieces requiring electricity, pieces
more than 60 inches in width, or any work previously
exhibited for a Ridge Art exhibit. Sale of artwork is
encouraged, and work will be offered for sale at the
price originally stated by the artist on the entry form.
There will be a 30% commission on all works sold.
No POR, please.
Ridge Art Association reserves the right to reproduce
accepted work in newsletters, news media, on our web
site, and other promotional uses.
PICK-UP OF WORK
Accepted work must remain in the gallery through the
end of the show, and must be picked up according
to the schedule at the left. Unaccepted work may be
picked up any time during exhibition hours: Monday
through Friday, 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Ridge Art.
Ridge Art Association will not be responsible for work
left 10 days after the close of the exhibition. Work
shipped with prepaid return will be shipped the first
week of October .
