OFFERING SCHEDULE
Today:
(1) Church (2) Disability Concerns:
Everybody Belongs. Everybody Serves.
Disability Concerns helps churches intentionally seek
• To end the isolation and disconnectedness of persons with disabilities and their families;
• To nurture the spiritual lives of people with disabilities so that they become professing and active
members of their churches; and
• To encourage the gifts of people with disabilities so that they can serve God fully in their
churches.
Next Week:
(1) Church (2) Home Missions
REFORMATION SUNDAY - Next week, we mark Reformation Sunday by remembering our
reformed identity and celebrating the ways God continues to work in the church today. We are
always reforming, imagining new ways to share the old story. This week, pray for wisdom and
energy to infuse Home Missions' church planters, campus ministers, regional leaders, and other
ministry partners engaged in the exhausting and exciting work of sharing the good news of God's
grace. To pray by name for ministry partners in your area, visit crhm.org.
World Hunger Campaign Begins - There are 500 million family farms
in the world, the majority of which are in the developing world. Many of
these farmers are unable to adequately support their families. You can
do something about that. World Renew invites you to join thousands of others in this year’s World
Hunger Campaign, called “Farm to Table.” Through daily stories and activity suggestions that you
can read around your own supper tables you will learn from global farmers and discover new
ways to share your blessings with those in need. Then join us on November 2 for World Hunger
Sunday.

KEEP IN PRAYER

Congratulations to all those celebrating birthdays this week:
Quintin Sjaarda and Travis Wilts – Oct 19
Louis Greidanus – Oct 20
Luke Siertsema and Micah Nonkes – Oct 25

We are thankful for people who work to protect the environment. With vast abilities to use the
world’s resources, we can easily pollute and harm God’s creation. Not only does this go
against what God created us to be (his image bearers), but unrestrained human activity can
easily make large parts of the world uninhabitable for us and for our children. We thank God
that we live in a nation where we take care of God’s creation seriously. Let us pray that we
continue to do a better job of caring for the world that God gave us to tend.

our annual Reformation Day Service. Note the date has been changed to the week after
Reformation Day.
New tables....you may have noticed 23 new white tables that have been purchased for the use of
the Blyth CRC. We have decided that these tables are NOT to be taken off the church property.
If you require tables for an event you are hosting at home please make arrangements in advance
to use the wooden tables. Presently the old tables are being stored at the school so it’s important
to let either Pastor Gary or Brenda know well in advance of your event. Thanks so much for your
cooperation with this!!
Thank-you for Giving: We are thankful to you, the members of Blyth CRC, for your offering in
support of Operation Manna, a program of Diaconal Ministries Canada. Your gift of $1,343.65
helps to bring coaching, grants, and support so that Canadian CRCs like yours are able to bless
their
communities
through
ministry.
Thank-you!
