The UrbanWater project includes the following objectives
About the project
The UrbanWater project aims to develop and demonstrate an innovative modular
ICT system and service for Water utilities to smooth water consumption peaks
through adaptive pricing and user empowerment solutions.
The System will enable better end to-end water management in urban areas. This
objective will be achieved by developing a modular, open and flexible system.

DATA MANAGEMENT
Design and deployment of a robust single cloud platform
able to store and process large amounts of data. This
cloud database will meet the needs for operating water
distribution networks and smart meters (AMR).
DECISION SUPPORTING TOOLS
Develop a water demand prediction system and a novel detailed
consumption model.
Develop a water availability prediction system.
Develop a spatial decision support system (SDSS).
Develop a leakages detection system based on hybrid methodology.
