Medical Team Opportunities

Medical Teams International is currently recruiting medical professionals to volunteer for both short-term
international development and disaster response teams. As this recruitment sheet is constantly updated
please check our website (www.medicalteams.org) for a list of our most current medical volunteer
opportunities.
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS
The first step to volunteering with Medical Teams International is to apply. You may apply online at www.medicalteams.org, or call
us at our toll free number (800) 959-4325 to request a paper application. Once we receive your application, questionnaire, two
references, copies of your passport, medical license, and resume, we will be able to consider you for placement on a team. As soon
as your file is complete, contact Brenda Wagner, International Volunteer Recruiter at [email protected] or 503-624-1020
to discuss potential placement on a team.
If you want information about a particular team or have questions about a specific country, please contact the listed Coordinator by
e-mail or the toll-free phone listed above. Team cost estimates usually include airfare, lodging, food, and in-country transportation,
unless otherwise noted. If you are selected for a team, we can offer you fundraising information. Although Medical Teams
International does not have faith requirements for volunteers, some of our in-country partners request that we send Christian
