HEALING SERVICE AT ST. ANDREW’S – SUNDAY
th
26 OCTOBER, 6.30 p.m.: Some of us attended a
Christian Healing Mission conference in March. We got
so much out of it that we booked them to come on the
spot! We are honoured to welcome the Directors of CHM,
Rev. John & Mrs. Gillian Ryeland, to lead our Healing
Service. We promise a time of gentle receiving in the
Lord’s presence for all. Also John & Gillian are laying on
a training session for anyone who wants to be involved in
th
the healing ministry on the afternoon of 26 , starting at
4.00 p.m. Please let Colin know if you are coming (01784
481258 /[email protected];).
CHIROPODY AT WBC: We are so grateful to Nicola for
her services as chiropodist at our coffee morning over the
past two years. We wish her well as she moves to
Holland. We hope that we may find a replacement
chiropodist. The next scheduled chiropody was to be at
th
our coffee morning on 5 November – listen out for
announcements. Pam Hillman is the contact for
appointments on 482296.
SLOUGH FOODBANK: Donations of imperishable food
items for Slough Foodbank, which aims to support local
people with emergency food packages, can be placed in
the boxes in all three churches throughout the year. At
the moment they would particularly welcome long-life fruit
juice, instant mashed potato, sponge puddings, long-life
milk, soap and shampoo.
WARM CLOTHING WANTED FOR SHOC: Thank you to
all who donate clothes for the homeless in and around
Slough. SHOC are always looking for clothes in good
condition for adult men and women who find themselves
homeless in the Slough area. Items may be brought to
Wraysbury Baptist Church. Warm clothing is especially
welcome as the cold weather approaches, including hats,
