Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
Hope everyone is doing well. We had 23 members in
attendance at Thursdays meeting.
Mike Fowlers' name was called for the Buck in the Box. He was not
in attendance so the pot rolls over to next month.

Our next Meeting will be Thursday
Novembe:r l-3t-lt 2-014-at ~:~ P.M.
We are setting up a continuing education class for Q.E.I. and
C.E.T. licensing. Classes will be held here at the hall. If you are interested
in attending, please call the hall.
The Local 74 Executive Board has made a decision to change our
monthly newsletter mailing to a quarterly mailing. You will still be able to
see the monthly newsletter on our web-site (iuec74.com). If you have not
registered for the web-site yet please do so at this time. As contract
negotiations get closer, this will give every member access to the latest
updates.
The Hap Anker annual Golf Toumament is scheduled for
Saturday, November 1st at 8:00 A.M. The cost is $65.00 per person and

The Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 13th at
the Magnuson Marina Cove ( The old Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort) The
cost is $25.00 per person and of course Retirees and their guests are free.
If you have never attended ,it is always a great time. Please call the Hall to
SIgn up.
Vanessa has been working on our website (iuec74.com)
she has
posted Newsletters , the Constitution and By-Laws and pictures. Iffhere is .
something that you would like to see on the Website, please give her a
call at the Hall.
The work situation has improved somewhat, at this time we have
10 Members out of work. With all the construction, hopefully we will see
full employment soon.
Our next paid Holiday is Veterans Day, Tuesday, November
11tho It will be here before you know it.
