Your Range Duty includes both setting up and taking down of your
allocated stages. If you are not able to do this, please advise the Club
Captain by Friday (email or message) of who you have arranged to be
your substitute.
New members who would like assistance to set up should report to
the Club Captain on arrival and he will find a member to assist.
Stages need to be checked by the Club Captain by 11.30 am for a
12.00 noon start.

REMINDER
TO RENEW FIREARMS LICENCE CLASS “H” HANDGUNS
You need to refer to the Club records book to nominate on the Club Form, of which we have plenty
at the Club, the dates of any 6 shoots in which you have been scored during the preceeding year.
The Club secretary Peter G-S, Peter Williams or Stan Machin are authorised to sign off on the chit.
This must be provided to Firearms Branch with your application to renew.
NOTES FROM RECENT GENERAL MEETING
Our President Steve has been liaising with our friends at Blackpowder Club who have agreed to pay
half of the expense to replace the old rifle range shed. This will be supplied and erected by Aldinga
Home Improvements early November. We in conjunction with Blackpowder will dismantle the old
shed on 1st November when we will need volunteers for the job, but we do need the services of
an electrician to install the new wiring and lights. Do we have a member licenced to do this work
who is willing to assist with his time and expertise? If so please talk to Stan M.
Our own Club Championships for all disciplines will be held in November on the dates as listed
above.
It was agreed by a majority of members present, that again the Christmas function will be held at
the Club, probably on 6th December but to be confirmed.
Bob B. is continuing with the investigation into a new state of the art fully automated wi-fi data
transfer scoring system.
RANGE IMPROVEMENTS
Roger West and his offsider Matt, kindly assisted with their truck and Hiab, to improve the location
of the berm and concrete blocks on range 6, and Stan M and Darryl C have built a new safety area
with a recent 9 hour day’s work.
