Quarry Impact Towards Economic Growth
The quarrying industry has always been acknowledged worldwide as the foundation in the design
and the construction of various innovative structures, infrastructures and amenities aimed towards
global sustainability and society enhancement. This economic sector is thus the vital catalyst
and component of any country worldwide striving for industrialised and developed nation status.
With globalisation and the present economic challenges a reality, the quarrying sector needs to acquire
the latest state-of-the-art knowledge on environmental-friendly technology and rehabilitation
foresight to carry out the best practices in quarries to stay competitive whilst maintaining
the growth momentum of this critical industry for a greener tomorrow. For further business
enhancement, the quarrying industry worldwide thus has to project an efficient and effective
environmentally-friendly corporate image locally and globally to achieve favorable economic
acceptance by the clients and the global community in this new era of global sustainability.
The theme for this year’s relevant high-impact quarrying conference and exhibition is ‘Quarry
