Plenary Sessions
Worship Coordinator: John Reese
John Reese, (see bio further down), has been President of World Bible
School since 2006. He and the WBS team are serving to coordinate the worship sessions of the
GMC.
Worship Leader: Clay Hart
Clay was born in the Philippines to military parents. He and his wife, Cherry,
served as missionaries in South Africa for 18 years. Clay is a member of the InterMission team and is
currently the International Minister with Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, OK while
working on a PhD in education.
Worship Leader: Peter Cariaga
Peter Cariaga was born in Cebu City, Philippines, to Salvador and Jennie,
and lived there until he was 18. Peter earned a BA in Bible in 2009, and a MBA in 2010 from
Oklahoma Christian. While in the States, he also worked with his dad in the Give a Goat ministry to
aid people in the Philippines. In 2011 he married Sarah from Manila. He is currently working on a
master of divinity from Abilene Christian University.

Opening Flag of the Nations Ceremony: Paul Dowell, Sunset
International Bible Institute, and volunteers.
Paul Dowell graduated from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma with a
Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Paul then moved to New York City where he worked as a
Computer Network Security engineer for five years. Wanting to work into full time Missions, the
Dowell family studied at the School of Missions at SIBI and later moved to Lima, Peru to plant
churches. Paul is married to Amy and they have three children; Elena, Katelyn, and David. Paul
currently serves as the Dean of Missions at the Sunset International Bible Institute and is the
Mission Coordinator for the Sunset Church of Christ.
Focus on Africa
Keynote Speaker: Machona Monyamane: God’s Mission in Africa
Machona came to know the Lord through World Bible School. He was
taught by Dr. John Morgan (AL) and baptized in South Africa by George Funk. Machona has a
Diploma in Biblical Studies from International Bible Institute, a Diploma in Human Resources from
Birnam, a BRS (Religious studies) and a MRS from Nations University, and is currently in his last
year of the CAMT program at Harding University.
Machona served as a preacher on the Gospel Chariot for 7 years and has planted churches in South
Africa and across the southern part of the continent. He conducted leadership seminars in
Cameroon, Kenya and Tanzania. He was the regional director (Gauteng) and the National
Chairperson (South Africa) for New Life Behavior. Machona currently serves as a Trustee for the
African Christian College in Swaziland and continues his role (from a distance) as minister of the
Seeiso Street Church of Christ in Attridgeville, South Africa. He is a sought after speaker on national
lectureships in Africa and has also been very well received in the United States.
Machona is married and has one daughter. His plan is to go to Harding School of Theology in the
Spring of 2015.

Keynote Speaker: John Reese: Mobilize for “Major American Initiatives”
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, John is a third generation missionary to
Africa. He earned a B.A in French and Bible and an M.Ed with a Bible emphasis from Harding
University. He and his wife, Beth, spent 16 years as missionaries in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
They have four married children who are all missionaries –Marcus (Papua New Guinea), Tammy
Short (Italy & soon to be Tanzania), Danny (Angola), and David (Tanzania). John has worked with
World Bible School for twenty three years and is now the President. John serves on the Board of
Trustees for Harding University and is a member of the InterMission team. He travels and speaks at
congregations and conferences worldwide.

Focus on Asia
Keynote Speaker: Gary Jackson: The Mission of God and Feet
Gary and Danita Jackson have served as missionaries in Belgrade, Serbia
(10 yrs), Moscow, Russia (9yrs) and Beijing, China (8yrs), but began their mission’s service with the
AIM program (Gary in Canada and Danita in Honduras and Columbia). He received education from
SIBI, ACU (BAS), Moscow State University (MA), Trinity College and Seminary (DRS). He is fluent
in Mandarin, Russian and Serbo-Croatian. Previously Gary served as the visiting missionary for ACU
(1993-4) and Harding (2003-4). Gary is currently on the faculty at Harding University teaching
missions and the Bible to the Chinese who are attending Harding. In addition, he and Danita are
responsible for the training and sending out of Harding's Summer Mission Interns. They are
presently assisting with a church plant among the Chinese community in Searcy, AR. They have
two married children, Joshua and Elizabeth.

Keynote Speaker: David Duncan: The Time is Now
David Duncan has been the Preaching Minister for the Memorial Church
of Christ in Houston since 2006. Before moving to Houston, David served as the Outreach Minister
at the Edmond, Oklahoma Church of Christ. David and his wife, Barbara, served on a four family
team for 7 years to plant a church in Vitoria, Brazil.
For several years, David served on the board of Great Cities Missions. He currently serves on the
board of Oklahoma Christian University. David and Barbara and two daughters: Anna Beth (20) and
Emma (16).

Keynote Speaker: Monte Cox: Looking for Those Who are Looking for
Him (Acts 16:9-10)
Monte met his wife, Beth, at Harding, where they married in 1980. They
have three grown children and one grandchild who lives with her parents in Mtwara, Tanzania.
They moved to Kenya with three other couples in 1982 and began a new church planting ministry
among the indigenous Kalenjin-speaking peoples of Western Kenya that led to the establishment of
120+ congregations with more than 3,000 members. Monte has taught Bible and missions at
Harding since 1992. He served as the Director of Harding’s Center for World Missions for 15 years,
Associate Dean of the College of Bible and Religion for 3 years, and has been Dean since 2008. He
still teaches courses in missions, anthropology, world religions, North American culture, and some
textual Bible courses. He also serves as an elder and the preaching minister of the Downtown
Church of Christ in Searcy, AR and organizes the annual Arkansas Shepherding Conference.
Monte has an M.A. in Missiology and Church Growth from Harding Graduate School of Religion
and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago.
