WELCOME TO WJC’S ISRAELI MOVIE NIGHT “The Matchmaker” (“Paam Hayiti”) This coming-of-age comedy/drama, directed by Avi Nesher and set in 1968, tells the story of a Haifa teen, son of a Holocaust survivor, who finds a summer job as an assistant to another survivor, a mysterious war-scarred matchmaker.
