Bids will be opened immediately thereafter, in public at the Bitou Municipality,
Supply Chain Management Unit, 17 Marine Drive, Plettenberg Bay
Bid documents will be available as from 07H30 on 20 October 2014 and
thereafter on weekdays from 07H30 until 16H30, at Bitou Municipality: Supply
Chain Management Unit, 17 Marine Drive, Plettenberg Bay.

Documents:
A non-refundable fee is payable to a cashier at Bitou Municipality, 1 Sewell Street,
Plettenberg Bay or via EFT (Bitou Municipality, Current Account – 282032371,
Standard Bank, Plettenberg Bay, Branch Code - 050714). Proof of payment will be
required on collection of tender documents. Bid Number to be used as payment
reference with name of payee.
Documentation Fee:
R100.00
The document will be available electronically upon receipt of proof of
payment. Bid documents will be available on council’s website at no
charge.

Bids are to be completed in accordance with the conditions and bid rules contained in the bid document and
supporting documents must be placed in a sealed envelope and externally endorsed WITH THE BID
NUMBER, DESCRIPTION AND CLOSING DATE OF THE BID, and be deposited in the Bid Box, at the
office of the Bitou Municipality, Supply Chain Management Unit, 17 Marine Drive, Plettenberg Bay.
Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation issued by the Municipality.
The Bitou Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender and reserves the right to
accept any tender, as it may deem expedient.
Tenders are subject to the Bitou Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy
Tenderers who are not yet registered are required to register on the Municipality’s Accredited Supplier
Database. Application forms are obtainable from the official website – www.bitou.gov.za.
Tenders shall be evaluated in terms of the
Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2011
Bidders may claim preference points in terms of their
B-BBEE status level of contribution.
